East Coast Moving Systems is the biggest scam. My husband and I moved from the midwest to the east coast so that my husband could attend seminary. Since we are training to be in Christian service, we do not have a whole lot of money and wanted to be wise. East Coast Moving Systems seemed to be reputable and reasonable. They were a "proud member of the BBB" and had pictures of nice middle class people on their website.
The pick-up seemed to go okay, although we were charged more than originally quoted. The guys seemed nice enough and seemed to take care of our stuff. They came at the time expected which was July 21, 2004. We were promised our stuff by July 28. It is now August 9, and we have no clue where our stuff is. Customer service has been awful...no one returns our calls and worst than that they lie to us and tell us we are getting our stuff and it never comes.
East Coast Moving Systems is one of the most unprofessional, shady organizations I have ever dealt with. In fact, what they are doing is downright illegal, unethical, and unjust. I pray God deals with them justly. When He does, they aren't going to like it.
