Transport Van Lines ("TRL") quoted me a price of $2,250 for my move. When they arrived they said they would only do it for $4,500 and it would have to be paid for in cash. I paid an additional $1000 to guarantee an exact pickup and delivery date, which they failed to comply with and failed to refund me my money for. I then totalled $4,500 of damaged and / stolen goods. They provided no form to process a claim after repeated requests. I sent my own listing of the items and their replacement values through an attorney. The Company then sent me a 10 page document to be filled out for the good that were lost and stolen. They required both before and after photos and original purchase receipts (most of which were heirloom antique furniture items) in order to get reimbursement. Needless to say I did not have that sort of documentation, and they had purposefully waited until after the 90 day claim period to give me the form, which I would then have to sign and date and get notarized to solidify that they claim was made too long after the move, and thus were not responsible. All I can say is avoid at all costs. They were the worst scammers I have ever come into contact with. BEWARE!!!
