We moved in to the apartment complex on the RPP program almost a year ago. Can't wait to move.. In the time we've been here, the dishwasher, refridgerator, garbage disposal and toilet has went out.. WE have a 2 bdrm and 1 bath room apartment and for the bathroom to go out.. you would think they would come ASAP. It did not happen that way. My husband had to repair the bathroom so that we could have one functioning properly.
My neighbor has a little boy and when he jumps upstairs, or lighting and ceiling fan turns on and off...I think it may be something with the wiring, but managment says it was a freak occurance (it happen more than 5 times) some occurance. We have this section of ceiling that leaks whenever it rains, have called for maintenance they alledgely fixed it once, but it's just as bad as it was at the start. . The a/c unit or whatever is in the closet in the lvrm has water pouring out onto the carpet.. can we say mildew... mgmt again says they can't explain what is..The tub is one of the worst.. it mildewed, rusted on the base of tub.. have tried cleaning, with array of supplies and it's no better.. was told it's nothing that can be done.
Now the neigborhood, is terrible, scary...On the side where we live there's fights most of the time. They say in their ad in the apartment guide, and once you enter the court you see this sign with arrows pointing to the pool and the tennis court, however those amenites is in another neighborhood, about 10 minute walk or a few minutes drive....why would you even have a sign indicating that if its not here....
My neighbor and I have complained numerous times, the ventilation is terrible, both apartments have had minor fires, hers was from the heater during the winter (she was told she had to pay for repairs if she wanted it done)...mines was from the air thing on top of stove, it made a funny sound and fire was coming down.. when she uses her dishwasher.. i know because the water runs down the wall behind the sink from ceiling.. they wont do anything, but say it's common problems, but when you attempt to leave they hand you a statement with those problems on it.. i don't understand that.
