AmeriPlan is a solid, reputable company

It is unfortunate that you did not research AmeriPlan further. AmeriPlan did belong to the BBB, but they no longer belong. When they terminated their membership, they had to scramble to delete the BBB logo from all their websites, and it did appear on their sites for a few days after they terminated.

After 14 years as BBB members in good standing, a very few representatives of the company advertised inappropriately. We are all Independent Business Owners (IBO's), not employees of AmeriPlan. Unfortunately the inappropriate ads placed by a very few (of our 60,000+ representatives) created a great deal of problems for the company. They actually lied in their ads, leading to a BBB investigation.

When those that filed the complaints against AmeriPlan to the BBB refused to agree to a resolution of the problem, AmeriPlan terminated their BBB membership, not wishing to be affiliated with an organization that refused to see the facts as they were... A few Independent Business Owners misrepresenting AmeriPlan, not AmeriPlan itself placing misleading ads.

Chris Gee is among our top IBO's, and he is a very honest individual. You may consider researching AmeriPlan further, and you would learn that we are members in good standing with the US Chamber of commerce , Consumer Health Alliance, National Assoc. of Dental Plans, National Assoc. of Health Underwriters and Direct Selling Association. BBB Investigation about Ameriplan

This is in response to your email stating that Ameriplan chose not to extend its membership with the BBB and also that it is part of other refutable organizations such as C.H.A. (Consumer Health Alliance).

First I would like to inform you that Ameriplan was kicked out of the BBB and did NOT allow their membership to expire as you have suggested. Please refer to Montana's governmental website and you can read about the case in which Ameriplan was forbidden to do business in the state of Montana and kicked out of the BBB for illegal business practices. The illegal practices were of course the act of Ameriplan and IBO's representing that they had a healthy network of dentists and physicians to treat Ameriplan members when in fact there were no providers that were in network with Ameriplan. Montana sued on the pretense of Ameriplan selling a service to its individuals while not providing a service to them because there were no doctors in the state that accepted Ameriplan. In the the IBO's and Ameriplan made money off of the unsuspecting people who had nothing to show for their money.

Secondly, I would like to address the statement that C.H.A. (Consumer Health Alliance) is a refutable organization. It is and organization that is supposed to regulate and inforce rules and regulations on members of the organization that are involed in consumer driven healthcare. In my opinion it is a front. CHA was actually formed and founded by Ameriplan and another discount dental organization similar to Ameriplan called Careington International which is located just down the street from Ameriplan. A young lady named Danny Spangler is the Executive Director and is a relative or close friend of the Blooms. Also, Ameriplan and Careington are permanant board members of the Association so they pretty much make the rules of how they want this organization and their companies to be run. If an organization wants to join then all they have to do is donate an annual sum of money and adhere to their guidelines and then they can be a voting member on the board. It is not very democratic.

I just wanted to educate you guys that are on the outside looking in. I worked in the corporate office at Ameriplan and know all about the shady and dishonest things that are going on there. Greed has gotten hold of the organization and I predict that it won't be long until the government, the marketplace, or something else steps in and makes a correction.

I am not in Chris' organization, but I do know him. He is a good man of God.

He deserves your apology regardless if you join him or not.

Chris is a Great humble Christian man with a great family.
