I decided that I wanted to try the Proactiv solution because I have a little problem of adult acne. However, when I ordered Proactiv they offer to send me a 30 day supply of Vita Clear vitamins for one dollar. So I thought that it sounded like a good deal and if I liked the vitamins I could order some more.

However, when I got the vitamins I found out that they made me sick when I took them, so I stopped taking them and forgot about it until I got a 60 day shipment of the vitamins. That shocked me and I checked my credit card and there was charge.

So I called the number of Vita Clear and sure enough I was informed that a brochure in the first shipment box told me that I was enrolling in a club with a company that was not part of Proactiv. I was told that even if I canceled and returned the vitamins in time that they would not refund me for the shipping.

So in addition to having to pay for the shipping to send them back, I would have to eat up the cost of them sending to me the vitamins that made me sick and did not work. As far as I am concerned this is one of the biggest ripoff ever.

So I canceled my club membership to both Vita Clear and Proactiv and now I am going to send the vitamins and other products back. Now I know for sure that I will never deal with those two companies ever again and I would advise anyone who is buying Proactiv not to accept any other "special offers." Because "special offers" really mean corporate ripoffs.
