I Purchased an adorable pomeranian puppy that my daughter and I fell in love with at Shake A Paw. It is too hard for me to go into detail, but he is the cutest thing, loves my daughter so much and they got so close and attached in the first two weeks, and he has had to go to someone else who can care for him, he is so sick, with kennel cough and pnemonia. :*(

I spent 350 dollars in the first week on treatment for him, and gave him meds and cared for him around the clock for two weeks, but I am a single mom, and cannot afford hospitalization etc...

This is the worst experience of my life, so sad like a death in the family, my daughter is grieving. And the only way we'd be compensated is if we kept him here and let him die!!! But I of course would never do that, so we drove two hours to meet a transport, and he went to a Rescue/Santuary in West Virginia!!

Does anyone know of a class action lawsuit I've heard about? I cannot find any information on it. thanks for listening, and good luck everyone.

(732)255.4696 Robin Bernstein (212) 864.5902 TOMS RIVER SHAKE A PAW SUED FOR SELLING SICK PUPPIES Animal rights attorney Isabelle Strauss and the Rutgers Environmental Law Clinic Legal Intern, Robin Bernstein, announced today the filing of a lawsuit against Pedigree Puppies, Inc., a Toms River, N.J., pet store doing business under the name Shake-A-Paw Puppies. The suit is brought on behalf of numerous plaintiffs who purchased what they thought were healthy, well bred puppies only later to learn that they were the "product" of puppy mills.

YOU NEED TO CONTACT THE OCEAN COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND ASK FOR MARIA SANZO 732-341-9700.
TELL HER ABOUT YOUR UNFIT FOR SALE INFORMATION THAT YOU HAD RECEIVED FROM THE VET, OR EVEN YOUR COMPLAINTS OF ANIMALS IN THE STORE.

SHE HAD TOLD ME THAT IF ENOUGH COMPLAINTS AND UNFIT FOR SALES ARE MAILED IN, THE STORE WILL LOSE THEIR LICENSE, AND BE CLOSED. SHE HAD MENTIONED THAT THE STORE DOES NOT HAVE A BAD RECORD BECUASE NOT ENOUGH COMPLAINTS WERE SENT IN. LET'S HELP CHANGE THIS AND THEIR BELIEF THAT THE STORE IS GREAT AND ANIMALS ARE HEALTHY...
