Mesa P.D. just spit up half a million more
of their citizen's dollars to cover their own
criminal misconduct, incompetence, and cowardice.
When are the citizens of this community going to find
the guts to counterattack this loathesome monstrosity?
When are the real crooks going to be held accountable? When do Mesa P.D.'s arrogant lies and ripoffs and other criminal conduct result in something other than cover stories, more lies, and bleeding citizens WHITE??

After well over four years, a Mesa man, KNOWINGLY PROSECUTED IN ERROR BY MESA POLICE AND THE COUNTY ROSECUTOR'S OFFICE, finally received some small amount
of justice.
After years of police and city ies, cover stories, smoke screens, vasions, and downright criminally orrupt conduct, Aaron Shane arkley was awarded only $500,000.
The jury took only an hour and ten minutes o return the findings, and to clearly find ross negligence against LIZABETH HORN, the etective who targeted the 31-year-old victim of Mesa Police incompetence and greed.
Larry Debus, the plaintiff's attorney, called it a case of "mistaken identity".
Most importantly, the jury identified serious flaws in police procedures. Markley said it wasn't a mistake which could be easily dismissed.
The City's Attorney, Catherine Bowman, not surprisingly, was "unavailable for comment", but suspicions linger that the city's bogus police and prosecution apparatus will try some kind of appeal or end run to avoid paying OR facing their continual and
chronic errors and corruption.
The City had argued that there was no basis for the claim because the arrest was "based on a valid warrant". FOR THE RECORD: WITH THE CORRUPT COPS, JUDGES, AND PROSECUTORS IN THIS FIFTH-RATE COMMUNITY, IT IS EASIER TO GET A "VALID" WARRANT THAN TO FIND A TOILET!!!
Markley, misidentified as a drug dealer due to erroneous testimony from Horn, based on an undercover drug buy April 6th, 1998, was viciously and aggressively pursued for over a year, when in fact the actual dealer's name was supposedly "MARKEY" and the department KNEW he had left town in '98, and persisted ANYWAY.
Markley did not even find out he had been indicted until January of 2000. He turned himself in to try to settle the
matter.
Horn ultimate HAD to admit she never ONCE checked Markley's utility or other records, or even attempted to determine if he had lived at the address where the
"buy" was consummated.
The prosecutors and police did not move for dismissal. When the errors finally were rubbed in their noses in
August of 2000, the courts finally dismissed.
Debus said Markley went through eight months of "hell", providing visually monitored urine samples,
one of which erroneously came up "dirty" and the local "law enforcement" idiots attempted to have him jailed. They even threatened him with the loss of his
children's custody.
Question: When do we start firing and prosecuting cops and D.A.'s for perjury and false reporting?
Question: At what level does a so-called law enforcement agency become so corrupt and demented that it has to be decertified?
Question: How can an agency who does this all the time retain any credibility AT ALL?
The Brown case, a very similar action in which a black prison guard did a great deal of time in Arpaio's hell, despite having solid proof he was totally uninvolved in Mesa's FAKE and FRAUDULENT case, also based on a name mixup, long after the agencies were aware they had the wrong man, is just one of an endless list of police ripoffs in Mesa.
Again: WE ARE PUTTING THE WRONG PEOPLE IN JAIL WAY TOO OFTEN. MANY MESA COPS NEED TO STAY INSIDE FOR A WHILE.
This is NOT law enforcement. It isn't even good fakery.
