March 7 - Bought vacuum
March 8 - Canceled contract and requested refund and return of trade-in.
March 9 - Check cleared bank
March 13 - Returned Kirby to dealer, trade-in returned minus 2 parts. Dealer claimed that there was hold on my check, and that I should put a stop on it, as his boss would "most likely never get around to issuing a refund." Offered to give me $400 additional dollars off the 'rock bottom price' I'd gotten before. Promised to return missing parts next day.
April 9 - Again requested refund from dealer by letter.
April 24 - Sent e-mail to main office with 3rd request for refund and missing parts.
April 25 - Received e-mail from main office absolving themselves of any responsibility for their dealers, but promising to contact them on my behalf.
May 2 - Received e-mail from main office informing me that a refund check had been mailed May 1, and that my parts had been returned as promised.
May 6 - No check, no parts, no help at all.
