If you are reading this, the first thing to realize is that you got ripped off by some scumbag kid. Once you get over that and if your check has not been cashed STOP PAYMENT IMMEDIATELY!
Yes, I know it costs you money, but at this point you should cut your loses. Paying $10 -$20 to stop payment is better than getting ripped off for the whole amount and best of all Palmetto Marketing, Inc. gets none of your money. Lastly, file a complaint with your local police department or city hall.
A lot of these groups get legitimate permits from the city to hock their goods. Obviously some cities do not check them out (a disservice to the taxpayers)and if no one reports them, they will keep doing this. Lastly, do not buy anything that is sold door-to-door.
