Hi there! I would need to buy more ink for my printer if you want labels for the jewel cases. (I am currently out.) T_T And I have some labels for the dvds themselves as well, but I would have to use my desktop computer and I don't know if I can get them..
seller
Response Mar 21, 2009 12:24 PM
to print off with it. It's old. Long story. Plus, labels on the discs themselves might cause them to play funny. I have had a few problems with them before. But I might be able to make you an extra disc that has the disc pics on them & you could print them
seller
Response Mar 21, 2009 12:29 PM
Either way, please let me know! And please keep in mind I'd have to charge for shipping because you aren't in the US. You can choose the shipping though and I will go to the PO to get a quote. Thanks for your interest!

Question Mar 21, 2009 1:26 PM
Thanks for all the infomations. I'm more interested to buy it in April but knowing the price for shipping to Canada with a traking number would be nice. That's would be for all the Collection, with DVD Cases/Insert/DVD Labels.
seller
Response Mar 21, 2009 1:36 PM
I can *probably* send it to Canada for like $15. But if they won't let me send it first class, priority is a b**ch. It's like $30. T_T I was shocked when this happened before. Wow. But yes, $60 is for the entire collection and cases/inserts. Add shipping.
buyer
Question Mar 21, 2009 2:00 PM
So it would be 60$ for the Collection, with 30$ for the shipping? I don't mind paying more for the shipping (with a speedy service like Express Post).
seller
Response Mar 21, 2009 2:12 PM
If you don't mind paying more, I'll go Monday and see how much it will cost for the different shipping methods.
buyer
Question Mar 21, 2009 2:41 PM
It would be awnsome! Thanks
seller
Response Mar 23, 2009 1:30 PM
Hello again. I went to the PO and asked about shipping. First class should be around $12.50 plus .75 for delivery conformation and $2.50 for insurance. (If they allow insurance. They won't sometimes.) Priority is $25.50 and Express is $40. (Plus the extras
seller
Response Mar 23, 2009 1:31 PM
like delivery conformation and insurance if you want them.) First class takes about a week, Priority takes about 5 days, and Express takes about 3 days. Hope that helps you out!

Question Mar 23, 2009 2:32 PM
Ok. When I'll be ready to buy, I leave a other message.

I just wondering that if the DVDs dosent have inserts, do we see the ''DVD+/-R with X compagny name'' on it? Or is it with a blank (white only) insert?
buyer
Apr 1, 2009 12:55 PM
This is perfect! Now I only have to do some home-made inserts (using yours as basis) to transfer the DVDs to some DVD cases and I'll keep your jewel cases for other purposes, like for the pc games of my litle brother. He always loose the box of this games so yours cases will come in handy!

And I've just see your email about the inserts and you can put the white one on them. I'm not worry because I have just finish to test a 24 DVD+R Set form a other seller. All of them got blank (white) inserts. I've even write with a special ink on then (like «Disc 1», etc...), and they work without problem on my two TV and PC!

Must be the government trying to get more money into the economy. So you have to pay when someone SENDS you something in the mail? I thought that's what postage was for! (Not mad at you, just annoyed that this is happening.)

Its ok.. At least I got the DVDs. All works fine but the one with the Act of Sailor V got a strange menu. I got one page of selections and a arrow. I click on it and I see two other pages of selection but there nothing in it (no words) and I can still click on them...

I want to be honest so..., when I open the packtage I've found that most of the jewels cases are broken. I know its not your fault, must be the transport, but its kind-of frustrating. Also why does the picture size is so small on a PC wiew? I like watching my shows on my PC (since our TVs are almost always used) so I feel desapointed.

I don't not want to be harsh with that message but I can't help myself and post it.
There is the list of all the ''deceptions'' that I got with the DVDs you send me. As a honest customer I got to tell you this:
1.They have take a LOT of time to arrive. Wich is NOT your fault, I'm aware of that, but I've paid a good price (especialy when the Canadien $ are low) for a quick service.
2.Jewel Cases arrived broken so I find myself lucky to get the discs intact.
3.One of the DVD (the Sailor V Act) got a imcomplete Menu, like I said on the other message.
4.The picture quality is GREAT but do not get the full-screen on my PC, wich I've expected for any Great-DVD encoding...
The point is that's the 3rd time that I got trouble with some products I've brough from IOffer and since the buying I do with you is the 3rd one I feel like that's not a good website to buy things. I'll surely close my account soon but before that I REALLY need to know if you can refund me, even it thats just partially, for the DVDs?

I'll answer each of your problems, one at a time.
1. You had a choice of shipping, you chose Priority Mail, and I PAID for Priority Mail shipping. I can't make the post office send things faster. I wish I could, but that was out of my hands.
2. If the jewel cases were broken, take pictures of how it arrived. Repackage the whole thing up and take it back to your Post Office. I'll take your receipt that I got from my post office and tell them that your items were broken in transit and I want them to do something about it. (That's what insurance is for. I've never had any trouble like this, so I'm not sure what will be done about it. But I can try.)
3. The thing with the menu is, at the end of that disc, there are 17 different 30 second clips of the actors having their last comments about the show. I thought it would look really cluttered to title each individual 30 second clip when you can just click the first one that is titled and it will play them all, one after the other.
4. I'm not sure why the picture is small on your computer. I check every disc thoroughly on a dvd player before I send them out and yours were great: No skipping or jumping or freezing up.

Ok, the picture are there. The frist one is the show that the 'pin' that hold the case are both missing and the other is to see that some of them got a lot of scratchs.

I went to the PO and talked to her. She said that the person that has the package that's damaged needs to take it back to their PO and see what can be done. I can't do anything else on my end because it's not in my possession. She said that usually to file an insurance claim, you have to give the goods back to the PO and tell them they are damaged beyond repair before they will file a claim to try and get your money back. I don't know what else I can do for you. She said she'd keep checking into other options and see what happens. Let me know if you take it back.

Actually, there might be an easier way. If you don't mind paying for shipping (I'll send it first class this time if you don't mind; since priority mail took just as long). It's cheaper. Anyways, since you are offering to pay to send them back to me, if you'll just send me some money for First Class shipping, I'll send you out 17 more Jewel cases and I'l bubble wrap the heck out of them to make sure they don't get crushed. Since the discs are fine and play fine. I think they are small on your comp because I put a black border around the episodes. If I didn't do that, the subtitles are too wide and you can't read them, especially when there is writing on the top of the screen and the bottom, too. It always cut it off. But if you want me to send you new jewel cases, please let me know!
you
*** Private Message *** ( only viewable to you and the buyer )
Apr 16, 2009 10:52 PM
The black border is a lot smaller on a tv screen. I never really checked them on a computer since most of my customers want to watch them on tvs. But one last thing: I don't know how many colorful jewel cases I have left. They come in packs of 50 colored/50 black, and I have a lot of black with clear tops left. Would those be ok if I don't have enough of the colorful ones? I can send you a pic of one if that helps. Please let me know!

I don't know what the controls is to respond at a dispute so I put it that way:
I only ''complaint'' when its neccesary. I've buy lots of stuff from Ebay and Amazon and
I've never complaint to others sellers, expect when I found that some sellers out there have sell me some bootlegs or defective DVDs... And I do my best to be polite with you, even if that pervious comment make me angry. I'm a really perseverant person for the thing that I judge right so if I got to use Paypal to file a dispute, and to get some of my money back, then I will do it.

I've received the box set of the X-Men Evolution. I tested them on my PC and I discover taht 2 discs of them got the sames content! I ask the seller about this and he give me a good explanation. So far so good. I continue to test them and I see that the picture quality is like a basd VHS encording, wich mean that those DVD are lillegal copies for sure. I've talk to the seller about this and I get a refund. I put a good review for him and END OF STORY.

I've buy the Bionic Woman DVD Set. When I received and opened it, I seen that the DVDs have not labels, wich is desapointhing. I test then and I discover that not only some of them got bugs, but that all the Disc 14 from the sets he sell GOT ALL THE SAME ISSUE! I dont like this so I ask for a refund and he give me some money. I've also thiking that this set could be illegal, since they are Home-Made DVDs. END OF STORY.

In your first message to me, you said the package was in "good condition", but that there was no protection for the cases. At this point you did not mention anything about broken or cracked cases. Why would you not mention it now, in your first message when you mentioned that they were not protected with bubble wrap? And why on earth would you describe the package as "good condition" if so many of the cases were broken? Do you not realize how suspicious that seems? You're contradicting yourself.
You also said that the DVD's worked great and had great picture quality. It sounds to me like you were pretty happy with the DVD's, right? The only issues you have with the DVD's themselves (the confusing menu on one and the lack of full-screen when viewed on your computer, something I do not advertise them having, by the way) are issues I have clearly explained to you. In both cases, the quality of the DVD's are in no way hindered. If you absolutely have to view DVD's in full-screen on your PC, it might be a good idea for you to specifically look for auctions that advertise such a feature on their DVD's, or ask the seller before buying. Many commercial DVD's released by major companies do not include full-screen mode either. Even you admit that the DVD's have great picture quality and play fine. You admit that they work. A lack of a full-screen mode is not grounds for a refund, especially since you never mentioned requiring full-screen mode before buying.
I have tried very hard to appease you. You had a problem with the jewel cases, I offered to replace them. You were not satisfied by that solution, so you shifted gears and said you were not happy with the DVD's themselves, and you wanted to return them for a refund (after you have had time to copy them, of course). Everything you have said and done has seemed very suspicious.
I only pointed out your numerous complaints to other sellers because you seem to constantly nitpick about the things you buy. I realize customers have a right to complain if they are not happy with the product they bought, but you seem to take this way too far. You even complained about prices being too high, when you were the one who agreed to those prices when you bought those items. If you really felt that the items were not worth those prices, why did you buy them? It doesn't make sense.
The fact that you have received so many refunds is, again, highly suspicious. Anyone can get a bad deal once in a while and get a refund, but you seem to get them alarmingly often. And even though you claim to have thrown these items in the garbage, you have absolutely no way of proving that claim, and I don't think many people would believe you.
In nearly all the cases where you got a refund for DVD's, you complained about silly, nitpicky things, even after admitting that the DVD's work. And when you did have a reasonable complaint, there were offers to fix the problems that you refused to accept, instead insisting on refunds.
You're just upset now because I appear to be the first person who has not immediately caved in and given you a refund because you found some tiny little thing to complain about.
You may think you've figured out a great way to get DVD's without paying for them, but sooner or later sellers are going to start noticing your pattern of buying DVD's, complaining, and insisting on refunds. When that happens, no one is going to sell you anything, because you are what they call a "problem buyer". No one wants to deal with a problem buyer.

I totally undertand that some of my comments or actions can be kind-of-suspicious but the only reason I have not said everything at the frist place its because I was too quick in my comments/actions, wich always happen. Whnen I was writing the comment about the packtage, saying that its was fine, I havent open the jewels cases yet so I didnt know they are going to break when I opened them. When I was saying that the picture quality was great, I meaning it. It IS great quality, only the black borders was getting on my nerves. AND I do not do all that insisting just for fun or trying to cross you. Not at all. I was just expecthing something else...

For the ''good condition'' packtage, by the way, I was talking only about the box you use to put the cases in, not about the cases themselves, and since the box arrived with no holes or drit on it, it was in ''good condition''. (And I've put the comment before I notice that the case were broken.)

Of course, I respect your opinon but I'm not an problem buyer. I just only got trouble on ioffer because I was enough... stupid... to buy Home-Made DVDs, thinking foolishly that they will work to my taste. That mean Perfect picture and sound Quality, full-screen mode, with case/insert/labels, wich mean PERFECT THING and no one in the world is perfect... That's why I said on a other comment that I close my account after this dispute is over. (Especially that I know now how to make Home-Made DVDs,like PGSM, myself.)

No sellers know about this but I'll tell you anyway. The name used on ths account, Suzanne Cote, is NOT my name but my mom one. As her daughter, I got the right to use it to buy things online, since I don't have a credit card even if I'm 20. My name's Mia Blais-Cote and I'm autistic. That's mean my way of thinking is different, and a LOT different, that oher pepoles. That's why you may find me picky, dishonest, always complaining, problem buyer or what not, but when I buy something I expect to be in a like-perfect-state. If is not, I geting in Fight-For-Refund Mode and things like this dispute arrived. For ''the high price'' thing, I've buy the less costly game but I was finding the price sill high. What's the problem with saying that? My autistic way of thinking said that is right, like all the rest. What should I do then? Give up??? That cause me so much pain... All of this.

If you don't mind paying more, I'll go Monday and see how much it will cost for the different shipping methods.

Hello again. I went to the PO and asked about shipping. First class should be around $12.50 plus .75 for delivery conformation and $2.50 for insurance. (If they allow insurance. They won't sometimes.) Priority is $25.50 and Express is $40. (Plus the extras

This is perfect! Now I only have to do some home-made inserts (using yours as basis) to transfer the DVDs to some DVD cases and I'll keep your jewel cases for other purposes, like for the pc games of my litle brother. He always loose the box of this games so yours cases will come in handy!

I only ''complaint'' when its neccesary. I've buy lots of stuff from Ebay and Amazon and
I've never complaint to others sellers, expect when I found that some sellers out there have sell me some bootlegs or defective DVDs... Someone who work at Ioffer should study the case and get a final decision. Thats would be more simple because we can 'fight' like this for days and days and that would NEVER finish.

If I've to give explanations for every neutral or negative review that I left to sellers on Ebay or on Ioffer, I can do that.
For this transaction on ioffer:

I've received the box set of the X-Men Evolution. I tested them on my PC and I discover taht 2 discs of them got the sames content! I ask the seller about this and he give me a good explanation. So far so good. I continue to test them and I see that the picture quality is like a basd VHS encording, wich mean that those DVD are lillegal copies for sure. I've talk to the seller about this and I get a refund. I put a good review for him and END OF STORY.
For this transaction on Ioffer:

I've buy the Bionic Woman DVD Set. When I received and opened it, I seen that the DVDs have not labels, wich is desapointhing. I test then and I discover that not only some of them got bugs, but that all the Disc 14 from the sets he sell GOT ALL THE SAME ISSUE! I dont like this so I ask for a refund and he give me some money. I've also thiking that this set could be illegal, since they are Home-Made DVDs. END OF STORY.
Now for Ebay:

Worst customer ever. Sellers BEWARE. Habitual complainer/freebie fisher. AVOID!!''
In the converstaion, I'm look like I KNEW that they were bootlegs and that I buy them anyway. Its true but, like I said at the begining of the report, it was my mistake. The worst of my life but if you take that matter aside does she STILL have the right to sell them (laws-wise)? I don't think so. Also she forced me to tell other things about my previous purchases and that does not concern her!
All that I said in this is the truth too so the story about using my mom' name, Suzanne Côté, that my real ID is Mia blais-Côté, and that I'm autistic is true. I can send my brith certificate to any legal services to proove it. I only said that to the seller because I was so mad and in pain because of her. I've cry all the time since this dispute have been done and I've lost some night-sleep too. That's some of my austistic effects when I feel offended to high-level.
