Hello Nnika,
I head up marketing for the XL Group worldwide and wanted to immediately respond to the report that you filed as it concerns me so much.
XL works with the utmost integrity and I am concerned that you feel that you have been treated inappropriately. At XL, we are always very open that anyone who feels that membership is not right for them may transfer it to another individual quickly and easily. I would like to speak with you to ensure that you have now been fully supported with your requested transfer.
As your blog concerned me so much, I also communicated with Roger Hamilton over the weekend who is likewise concerned about your situation. The XL code of conduct states to contact Roger directly for escalation of issues and Roger has asked me to obtain your contact details so that he may personally call you too.
As I do not have your full name or contact details, could I kindly ask that you contact me at the XL Head Office in Singapore (using the number in your Life Membership joining kit). Please note that Singapore is +15 hours CA time.
Best regards, Ian Grundy.

Hello Nnika,
From these e-mails I am aware that Shah - in our membership team here - has now fully refunded you the sum that you paid for Life Membership. International transfers generally take between 2-4 workings days to clear – so you should see this crediting your account by Wednesday or Thursday of next week.
As soon as this transfer does show as a credit in your account, please could you send me a quick e-mail so that I know everything is complete.
I hope that you feel that we have now satisfactorily managed this refund process and I wish you all the very best in your future endeavours.
I look forward to receiving a short note from you next week.
Best regards, Ian
