cambridge, Europe

We contacted this company after filling out a form via the web, they conatced us via telephone to offer their services.

so we used them to move or worldly goods from san jose, ca to the untied kingdom.

On november 29th 2004 they had another company come and pack our stuff. we were told it would be 4 weeks for our stuff to be delievered and we still haven't got it now and it's now 21st od jan 2005!!! we have tired several times to contact this company via telephone and email and yet they made no attempt to contact us, we have recieved two automated emails both saying the exact same thing that we would be contacted in 10 to 14 days and still as yet have bot heard from them, they had changed their telephone number and yet did not contact us to tell us.

we were finally given a tracking number after 7 weeks after my husband finally got hold of someone, we were then told our stuff was still sat in san jose, ca.

we are very angry at being given the run around by this company. and it's about to stop!

Did anyone get their stuff back???

After all the complaints and paying extra, did anyone get their stuff back? What was the end result, are we all screwed? I had the misfortune of discovering this site after wwrelocations started holding my positions for ransom. I guess I'll have to file my comlpaints and see what happens from there.

If you want your stuff....you have to get it yourself

I got scammed by this Company too. I was able to recover my stuff, but only because I tracked it down myself. Fortunately, I had the bill of lading that I got from the party that picked it up and used that to track the shipment through its various destinations to the port and carrier that was holding it. Eventually, I paid the carrier directly because they were not going to ship without getting paid. Most likely that's what is happening with your shipment as well ... someone is waiting on WWR to pay them and will not ship your goods until that happens AND IT WON'T HAPPEN EVEN IF PATRICK TELLS YOU IT WILL!

The other problem is that the shipper probably doesn't want to deal with the consumer, so you have to hound them until they talk to you. I was fortunate in that the Maritime commission stepped in and persuaded my shipper to talk to me and eventually I convinced them that they were not going to get paid by WWR and that it was in their best interest to pay me.

Raise Hell! I contacted everyone I could think of and it was only after I caused a big stink that Patrick started responding to my e-mails. However, that doesn't mean much because he's a lying sack of sh*t. He'll tell you over and over that he's working to resolve the issue, but mostly he's just buying time. Don't believe anything he says until you have goods in hand.

The following are the organizations I contacted. By far the maritime commission was the biggest help, but technically they have no jurisdiction unless you did an international move...however, they have some weight and are worth contacting. Best of luck!

* Miami-Dade FBI office.
They have jurisdiction over Broward County where WW Relocations is doing business. You can file a complaint online @ http://miami.fbi.gov/

* Pembroke Pines Police Department 954-431-2225 http://www.ppines.com/police/phonenumbers.html
I left a message to file a detective report.

* Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration online.
Their website is https://www.1-888-dot-saft.com.

* Federal Maritime Commission.
You need to fax to them with complaint info. 202-275-0059 Attn: Allen Jackson. They are extremely involved when your move is from US to overseas.
Select the "complaints" button and read everything they can help with.(Mr. Costadoni alluded in a 6/04 posting he has an application for something in with them). Their website @ http://www.fmc.gov
