I was a good customer for LA tan for almost 2 years. One day I was refused admittance and told that I had to pay them out of pocket for the last visit and for the current visit; which I did and was embarrassed. My husband told me nothing was wrong with credit card and that it shouldn't have happened; but I hate conflict and did not say anything.
A couple of months later it happened again. This time I called my husband in tears. He called our credit card company and came to LA Tan himself. The girl working typed us up on computer and my husband allowed the girl to talk to the company herself. Apparently it was fixed right then because I received an apology and was given an upgrade for 2 visits.
I hadn't tanned for a few months and decided to go in. A new fellow there denied me for reasons that I just spoke of. I tried to tell him that everything was fixed and relayed the whole story. He said, "not according to the computer." I asked him to call the girl who worked there before, but he said she's gone we don't know where she is. I asked him to contact the manager, the only person I saw as a professional and I thought that I had somewhat of a repore with. No - she couldn't be reached and wouldn't be there for 2 weeks. His manner and speech were very condescending. When I left I knew that I'd never be back and I did not pay.
Sometime later my husband recieved a bill for about three times the amount of money that I owed. He payed them. Just when I thought the crap was over with a collector began calling my home, and continues to harrass us to this day! LA Tan please call off your bulldogs.
The turn over for LA workers was amazing. Young people came and went very quickly. At first they had a finger print sign in method. My print would never go through for some reason and they had to bring up my account manually. This method was abandoned. There were problems many times crossing me up with other customers or my account not even showing up at all.
