Publishers Business Service sent me a letter (my last name is spelt incorrectly) stating that I should now start paying for the magazines I ordered.

I never recall speaking to anyone about these magazines. There is no way I can afford them and wish I knew where to send them back. I send all their mail back unopened.

Has anyone had any luck about getting out of this? I am going to report them to my Attorney General. I make minimum wage and these people billing me is very stressful. Would appreciate any advice on how to stop them.

I contacted the Attorney Generals office in Baton Rouge and explained that these people were harassing me. I was now getting phone calls at home, as many as 12 a night with really rude people.
The AG contacted them and they sent a letter back to the AG claiming they had released me from the contract on 10/27/05, definitely not true. They claim I may still get the magazines but I owe nothing. I am filing this letter for the next 10 years. The only contact I had with these people was bills and phone calls asking for money. Do NOT pay them, contact your AG's office, and tell them to go to Ripoffreport.com. If I can do it, then you can too!!! Good luck.
