Beverly, the numbers you heard read back to you was a routing number which I have said many times ANYONE can get that. They are NOT private numbers. Since you were sleepy at the time they called (which is what these crooks like when they catch you off guard) you thought it was your account number they read back to you when in reality it was the routing number. You probably then verified the account.
As for the 800 numbers including the local one, they ALL lead to the same place, Suntasia Marketing. This is why the same guy Jerry picked up twice. They give you all these different numbers to call making you think it's 3 different places you're calling but what they want to do is frustrate you enough where you don't cancel and thus they have enough time to bill you after your so called, "free" trial expires.
The reason the woman called you from the (727) 471-0276 is b/c she is the receptionist at Suntasia. This is their job to check the system on a daily basis to make sure you are cancelling.
I wish more people read ALL the threads on this site about this company b/c you would have saved yourself some major headaches and questions.
Their Corporate address is:
Suntasia Marketing
8751 Ulmerton Road
Largo, FL 33771
My suggestion is to send them a simple notarized CEASE AND DESIST certified letter stating that you DO NOT want to be involved with their company in any capacity whatsoever. You are not to receive anymore of their useless promotions either by fax, email, postal mail, cell phone, land line, telegram, telegraph or pony express. Also let them know that if your account is charged they will be held liable for any charges made and any other incurred fees instituted by the bank as well. You can address the letter to their lawyer Donald Booth. Please make sure you type out a neat, professional looking letter. DO NOT threaten them with any violence. The more calmly you make your demands, the better off you'll be.
Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for coming out with the truth. As a former employee myself I have been saying the same thing all along. I also left with a guilty conscious but I am glad I found these forums which allows me to help others.
Pooty there are so many other forums you can post your experiences with Suntasia.
I was wondering and wanted to ask you a few questions. How long did you work there for?
Has Suntasia's BIG suits at corporate noticed they've been exposed in the media twice in the last 8 weeks or are they just ignoring it?
How many calls roughly did you get a day for cancellatiions of the sale?
Thanks for letting us know the truth.

i worked for cust service for suntasia which pretty much means i cleaned up their dirty work and took the calls from customers that were ripped off and wanted their money back. we are instructed when a customer calls and wants their money back to make it impossible for them to receive it. we offer gas vouchers that we say are good at any gas station in the us. now yes they are but you have to pay for it then send us the receipt and even then you only get $10 a month that you will find printed very small on the back of your gas vouchers. they also instruct us that if the gas vouchers dont do the trick to offer to drop the price of florida way dream escape or freedom gold to $99 and we will send back a $50 refund.
By the time you receive that $50 back it's not worth it. the vacations that are offered to you are timeshares. you have to go on a 90 minute tour of the resort and hear someone else try to force you to buy something more then the vacation. the distinct advantage is a "discount" card that no one will ever use. most of the time they hold the packages so that by the time you receive it you are already billed for it. they will say that it was a delay in the postal service and not take responsibility for it and offer the gas vouchers. if you are contacted by this company do not give it to the consistent calls and if you are a customer that has been billed, do not take gas vouchers. tell them you want the refund procedure so that you can get your full refund. after the refund letter is sent, constantly call the company, like they did to get you into this, to check on the staus of your refund. if you bother them enough you will get it. i once had a customer call and threaten to blow up the builing and all the employees inside. the customer was re imbursed within 20 minutes of that call. if you have to, also contact the better business bureau. they hate when they get calls or letters from them bacause they are forced to give you the refund without you having to write a refund letter. this job has left me with a guilty conscious. that is why i am doing this. it is not fair that we are all americans that work so hard for our money to support our families, yet we work so hard to take others money. good luck.

I just wanted to respond briefly to Pooty. I was offered those gas vouchers when I requested a refund. H**l no! I want my money back. Also, Josiah told me that my vacation package had been mailed on 8/3/06 and I should have received it by now. I've had plenty of time to review it and when they didn't hear back from me, they assumed I accepted the offer and billed by checking account. I told him that he was a liar and that if they did not refund my money immediately, I would be contacting the Florida Attorney General's office to file a complaint. That's when Josiah told me about writing a letter to receive my refund. I'm sure they didn't think I was going to do it; nor did they think I would send it Express Mail to be received by them the very next day 8/23/06.
Again, if you lost money to these criminals, hararass the heck out of them, the same way they have hararassed you.
Peace & Love
