According to www.fcc.gov/eb/orders/2002 a cease and desist or whatever letter was sent to Vacation Showroom in 2002 about their unsolilicited/unauthorized faxes to companies. My understanding is that if a co. continues to send out faxes after receiving such a letter they can be fined. Vacation Showroom has a bunch of AKA's. To file a complaint look up illegal or unathorized faxes on the web. You have to fill out some paperwork and send it off to the FCC or FTC, but payback is a bitch. The only question I have is how did they get you check info? Someone had to have given it to them over the phone for them to draft your account. After enough of us start reporting these AH's we'll stop getting these faxes at work. If you call or fax them ,mention what you are going to do they might pay more attention to your refund.
