This so called business invites you to a hotel or a makeshift building by a phone call or a post card, offering you a FREE (not free at all) vacation. (using millineum cert co out of Port Orange FL) Castaways Vacation Club **aka
Funseekers Vacations,
Somerset Vacations,
New Horizons Travel Club,
Beachcombers Vacation Club,
Vacation Depot,

At that point they try and sell you a castaways vacation membership, stating that they will 100% guarantee that you will get all your vacations at wholesale and then they will pay you back 5 to 10 % in cash.Charging you anywhere from $7995.00 to $350.00. Not even worth the $350. they will go down to.The cost on the books, binder and fake travel ID card they give you cost around $200.00 to make.
WWW.CASTAWAYVC.com is secretly ran by Bill Bailey(cell Phone 217-825-5511) whom was kicked out of the timeshare/vacation industry in Branson Missouri (indited), as well as Detroit Michigan, Pensylvania, Minneosota, most likely many more locations.

He has partnered up with Christy Spangler,Randy Cummings to USE thier names, since the Bill Bailey name has zero credibility and multitudes of negitive publicity. **look up Bill Bailey Vacation Club on Google and the can of SNAKES is opened again!

In 4 different types of travel I have found and booked travel on travelocity for hundreds of $ less than, this so called travel membership could do and in less than ONE hour. When calling travel service (LOL) 1-866-729-6400 (Melissa,Tammy,Carol,Brenda,Christy, etc) they tell you they will get back to you in a few DAYS. Most of the time with no return phone call at all.

CASTAWAYS VACATION CLUB is the biggest scam I have ever seen and unfortunately experinced first hand more than once.

Castaways Vacation Club

My wife and I attended one of these presentations almost 3 years ago and purchased the program, we have gotten our money's worth out of it so I am not sure what all this is about? I have to say I am confused, there is a toll free number to call that is answered everytime we call and have been using this program for almost three years now. If you don't want to travel don't buy the program, if you don't travel don't buy the program.. but putting up some of these complaints is very confusing to someone like me who has had this program for almost 3 years.

Castaways Vacation Club Is For Real

Unlike the complaint I read, I have had nothing but positive experiences booking vacations through Castaways Vacation Club. My husband and I purchased a membership in Houston with Phoenix Vacations, which I understand is a sister company of Beachcombers. We received lifetime discounts on condos, hotels,
airfare, cruises, etc.
We were told to go to the Castaways web site and book our trips through Castaways. In the past 9 months we have took a wonderful Carribean Cruise where we got an outside cabin for less money booking through Castaways than we could have gotten an inside cabin booking online ourselves!
We've also used Castaways for an all inclusive vacation to Mexico which was a blast! We saved about $700 from the prices I saw listed on various web sites.

My advice would be check these memberships out for youself. Don't base your decision soley on what someone posts on a website. And by the way, a couple of you may have been brought in for a presentation that was not in a real office, but that was not the case with us. Phoenix Vacations is in a suburb of Houston in a
small strip plaza. We would have never gone if it was in a Hotel meeting room or something like that.

A very gross group of con artists with police monitoring ankle collars

This scam 'company' is the biggest hoax ever. I attended a presentation on 11/2007 and me and my wife were shocked by what we saw. First of all, we didn't give them any money, thank God. The "sales reps" were dirty and looked stoned. The presentor has some kind of speech impediment and looked like he is on a probation and wears an ankle monitoring collar. Never received the "free gas certificates". Never sent them the $50 "booking fee for free vacation", by then I was 100% sure that it was a scam. I posted this same comment on similar websites to inform and protect the innocent hard-working people.

I am happy with my membership

I am a member of the Castaways Vacation Club and they have always been very helpful. They have helped me find the best hotels and the cheapest rates. I have seen a lot of negative stuff about them on the Internet and I called their office about it. I was told that some former employees and current competitors post the majority of that stuff.

Based on my experience with them they are well worth the money! They have saved me hours worth of hassle every time I travel. Who has time to search the internet and call 10 places to find the best rate? After all I don't even change my own oil so why would I be my own travel agent? The bottom line is I think this negative stuff is BS. I even recommend Castaways to my friends.

Fake "nice company" postings by Beachcombers criminals

Please don't trust these postings that defend Beachcombers "vacation club". They appear the same day after a negative comment posted by someone else. Why would a happy and satisfied customer Google Beachcombers's and post on a forum like this?

I reported them to BBB, I am in the process of reporting to DA, FBI, and whoever else I can think of.

Mind you, I haven't lost any money because I realized that it was a scam after 5 minutes at their "presentation", I am still doing this for other people's good. Nothing worse than some fellons stealing money from elderly people.
