On June 9, 2008, I made a reservation through Otel.com for a 2 night stay at the Sheraton Centre Hotel in downtown Toronto, Ontario Canada. I paid for a prepaid voucher for the amount of $352.00 for the weekend of August 1, 2008. Four days before the trip (otel.com policy) I called the hotel to see if they had my reservation information. The hotel staff stated that they did not have the information for Andre of New York State.

I called otel.com and the company stated that they would email my reservation information to the Sheraton. After a day or so, otel.com stated that they sent my information and gave me a confirmation number for the Sheraton. I called the hotel immediately and the reservation staff stated that this wasn't one of their reservation numbers. It was too short and furthermore I still wasn't in their system. I returned an email to otel.com and the company responded that I was booked with the hotel. I would continue this process for four days with both the hotel and otel.com(one claims I'm booked while the other stating I'm not).

On the day of my trip, I called the hotel and they continued to tell me that I wasn't in the system; I sent otel.com some desperate emails so they would send them my information to the Sheraton. During my travel to Canada, Otel.com left me an email and voice message stating that my reservation was intact and to check in. Upon arriving at the hotel, I attempted to check in but they did not have my information; they did have an Andre from Vancouver, Canada. Since I live in NY I couldn't check in, since it wasn't me.

I tried to call otel.com, but no one answered the phone. I sent an email, no response. I eventually left the hotel embarrassed, homeless, and hungry. I luckily found another place to stay. I would like otel.com to reimburse me for the $352 that I spent with the company. The company ruined my trip and furthermore stopped contacting me to resolve this situation. Thank you!

Dear Andre,

Can you please let me have your Otel.com tracking number so I can have the chance to check the booking and respond to you.

I would like to reassure you that we are a well established and reputable company. I personally have worked for Otel.com for the past 8 years and we have helped millions of satisfied clients to get the hotel that they want at the best prices.

Happy customers tell 4 to 5 others of their positive experience. Dissatisfied clients tell 9 to 12.

If there is anything else that I can assist you with please do not hesitate to let me know
