You people on this report whom are writing positivly of Dwayne Corbitt, trust me, you have no idea what this man's done in the past. This is not to say anyone is incapable of changing. Mr. Corbitt very well may be attempting to live and do business straight. But trust me when I say, you have no idea what is in the man's the past, and the things he's done. There's a reason he lives in NC and not LA anymore. Just know that you'll never know the real reason why. If you are dealing with him, tred very, very carefully. 

As a Hollywood professional, I feel it necessary to respond to this issue of Dwayne Corbitt's character. I have known Dwayne for years and know that the negative statements as written, in some of the afore mentioned comments, are not characteristics of the Dwayne Corbitt that I am familiar with. I have always witnessed Dwayne as knowledgable, honest, and hard charging; which should never be construed as scamming or manipulative. On the contrary, everyone should know that in entertainment industry, nothing ever goes as planned. Even in the event that something went wrong on a transaction, I can say with certainty that Dwayne is not a Thief or a Scammer as mentioned in the first few comments. Perhaps the writers of the negative post should be evaluated on what their original intentions were when they put the money up for the projects. Maybe they should have gauged their "real" expectations for their return on investment, instead of whining about taking a beating in the entertainment business. The industry does it to us all. Anyone who has ever won, had a hit song or show, has lost money before...get over it. If those people in first few comments lost money on a venture, its their own fault. Know the waters in which you tread because the entertainment industry is not pretty. I'm sure that even if the transaction went south, it was not because of something Dwayne did maliciously to you personally. It's just not in Dwayne's character that I have ever seen or witnessed. The only thing that I have ever seen in Dwaye is Team. Disturbing to know that these forums even exist.

I find this site to be amusing in the way it allows anyone to post what ever they see fit to write. The sites seems a little shady. I'm one of the original managers of Headstart Entertainment I ran Day to day and oversaw company transaction. Dwayne Corbitt was not a board member or officer he has never been on any bank accounts that Headstart established. In my dealing with Mr Corbitt he showed nothing but generosity and honesty. We initially approached Mr Corbitt in the capacity of a board member and he declined. He never accepted or solicited any investor or partner of Headstart for any monetary investment. The accusation is preposterous. It looks like the same person is posting these accusations and they are false. I find it interesting that nowhere else on the web is there anything negative written about Mr. Corbitt outside of this site.

I have known  Dwayne Corbitt for 25 years and he has always been an upstanding, God fearing man. He had nothing to do with the money going in and out of HeadStart. I do recall him putting some of his own money to fund projects, but I don't recall him benefitting off of the company. He took a loss just like anyone else who took a loss.

Dwayne has always been a man of integrity and has always treated everyone with respect. He is a man of character and is known for his generosity. I can't say whether or not these people on this site have lost money or been mislead, I know that Dwayne Corbitt was not a part of any deception.

Any business dealings that he has ever been involved with, he went in with the highest expectations and generally bore the responsibility of it's success or failure. He's never asked for anything from anyone but he's been there for many.

I can't say this is a smear campaign, but it may be some misinformed people who may have lost money. I hope the best for everyone.

You obviously are not talking about the Dwayne Corbitt, I and many people know. You must either be a disgusting competitor or a very jealous person who is afraid to see others succeed or hey maybe a bit of both. In your last comment about holyfield and gamma where in that article did it say there was a ripoff or any wrong doings? It didnt.  Where in your "warning" does it say that icell was a fake company or that money was ripped off?  And I've drank Vital One and met the business partners from China and everyone behind it.  And it is an amazing drink for a great new market. And guess what it's for real and 100% legit.  Do you know if these companies are still up and running or have they been bought out or have they closed?  Do you know if there are other companies that are up and running and legit? Do you know if there was a profit or a loss?  Do you even know what you are talking about? Unfortunately you sound like you are trying to put questions in someones mind because you do not want to see someone succeed. This man is the hardest worker Ive ever met. He keeps all of his business relationships in pristine condition and I along with many others would hands down vouch for him.  Unfortunately for this website it may provide warnings of companies but it also allows liars to say whatever they need to, to try and beat their competition.  I do not see any law suits, any criminal charges and no true proof that anything you are saying is true.  Maybe you are behind some fraud and trying to place the blame on Dwayne to take the pressure off yourself?  Again the question is, is it illegal to own or start up businesses?  What should be illegal is defamation of character and allowing to stay annonymous.  Shame on you. 

Dwayne R. Corbitt has been running different scams and cons on people for over two decades nationally and internationally. At present, he is attempting to sell the wheatgrass drink now named "Vital One" in NC where he lives, as well as Los Angeles. It looks like he tried to sell similar drink years ago per this site:

Dwayne Corbitt seems to be trying to continue and take money from people to star a shady business. He claims he is the CEO and founder of an "iCel" company, but also is currently living in North Carolina trying to launch an "Alkaline water" company. From what has been investigated, he just takes money from people so he can pay off others and fills possible investors with fake promises and the future of growth. Good luck and I hope someone puts a stop to this and future investors.   

I know of a few of these people you are talking about. They are complete frauds.  It would be good for you to know they use church as one of there ways of trying to get money from you.  I do know one of them has since lost there home and the other moved out of the state.  Were they trying to sell Da Jammies?  What about alkaline water?  If I can be of any assistance I would be happy to help.

I invested in Legendary Entertainment which became Headstart Entertainment.  They took me for over 145k plus many of my family members.  They do not have a license in Nevada to even do business.  Look under Secretary of State (under Entity) and look up Doug Warr or Dwayne Corbitt and you will see they have no license to even do business.  Legendary Entertainment name is under Fidelity Financial dba Legendary.  Headstart Entertainment did not use a DBA that I am aware.  Talk to Telemarketing Fraud 888-890-1988 and speak with Debbie.  Law Enforcement is not going to touch them as they are not currently soliciting business.   However, Law Enforcement is aware of what they have done!   Check with IRS and your tax consultant, but you could take as a loss as WORTHLESS STOCK.  They stopped selling in 2007, so you must have invested with them in 2007?  Was it Mike Mathews who sold you the unregistered stock?  They are using fake names.  Mike Mathews real name is Edward L. Cohen. He is working for another company run by Ira Warren who real name is Ira Warkol and the company they are selling the unregistered securities at now is Animation Development Co LLC.  They are actively selling and are taking many victims under their wing.  I hope that people will check with Department of Corporations, Securities and Exchange Commision etc before investing in these boiler room scams.  Doug Warr, the person in charge picks up mail at a mail box location and they don't even have a valid address that I am aware of.  Doug has sent out promise emails recently and to date, they have never kept their word.  I invested in 2003 and they took many of my family members.  I think you will find out more information by talking to Telemarketing Fraud people -- they want to hear your story!  My stock was in Trust Co of America and it was declared worthless in December 2010 and that was the IRA company they were using for retirement monies.   I hope this was helpful.  Free free to contact me.
