What an interesting website ripoffreport is, any individual
(or competitor) can set up an account anonymously and post a derogatory report
about a company, true or false, without fear of legal recompense. Ripoffreport
have no interest in the validity of the individual or the allegation. And
clearly condone breach of copyright, our logo being used without our permission
as an example. Actually, this is a shame; if they validated each of the users
posting the reports, as a minimum to check they are who they say they are, this
website might actually have some credibility.
When this article was brought to our attention, we pondered
for a couple of days as to whether we should reply or ignore the article. In
the end we decided that we would address the article here are the facts:
1.
We
have never heard of Richard Schultz, let alone had a complaint from him.
2.
I
am not sure why, but we do not have any enquiries on our CRM system from
Swansea, which is unfortunate, it is a lovely place.
3.
We
take complaints very seriously, they are always investigated, unfortunately as
this person does not appear to exist, we were not afforded the opportunity of
talking to him.
4.
Yes,
we do use Approved Index, that part is true.
5.
Would
we ask a potential customer not to talk to our clients, quite the opposite, when
we are short listed for a project, we provide potential customers with a list
of up to five companies and actively encourage them speak to them. We are
extremely proud of the websites that we have built and so are our customers, it
is our customers talking about the work that we have done for them that often
wins the business for us. Our customers are our best salesman.
6.
The
article would have you believe that our offices are in the USA, we are in West
London.
7.
We
have wonderful offices in West London, but unfortunately for us, the vast
majority of our prospective customers are far too busy to visit, therefore we
tend to visit our customers at their offices. The truth is, seeing our
customers businesses first hand significantly increases our understanding, which
in turn delivers a far superior website.
8.
Adrian
Duff, whoever he is, doesn’t work for our company, we have never heard of
Adrian Duff.
9.
Since
the day Fusionsoft was founded, we have never employed a salesman. Interesting
concept eh?
10.
Would any
company shout at a prospective customer who was about to buy their services?
11.
In the
last sentence, the author of the article is 100% right.
a.
Take
at least three references, call the references and talk to them, find out if
the supplier delivered 100% of what they agreed to provide.
b.
Visiting
your potential supplier is important, but more importantly, take a credit check
on the supplier, check their records from Companies House. For the sake of
£10.00 you will be able to see, how long the company has been trading, how many
companies the Directors are currently, and have previously, been involved with.
And are they credit worthy? These guys are excellent for this type of
background information http://www.riskdisk.com/
12.
Finally,
Fusionsoft are a member of BASDA http://www.basda.org/
they are the UK’s premier association for Software development companies. Make
sure your supplier is a member of a bona-fide organisation; would you book a
holiday with a company who was not a member of ABTA?
To conclude, we would welcome an
opportunity to discuss your website and search optimisation requirements with
you, we are more than happy to introduce you to our clients, we are a
professional company, we are probably not the cheapest supplier, however, we
are extremely good value. Check us out at http://fusionsoft.co.uk
