Hound.com Credit Card Fraud! Pasadena California

Out of work and using the Internet to find new jobs, I decided to try Hound.com, an Internet job-finding website, which advertises a Free, seven-day access to its website. To have free access to Hound.com, I had to provide my credit card number, however, their website lists that anytime within my first seven days, I can cancel my trial membership without my credit card being charged $29.95.

Well, I did cancel my trial membership on my seventh day, however, Hound.com automatically ended up charging me $29.95 to use their job-finding website. When I complained to Hound.com's Customer Service department about my credit card being incorrectly charged $29.95 even though I cancelled my trial membership within seven days, I was told that I didn't give their company enough notice. Further, Hound.com's Customer Service dept. did refuse to refund my $29.95 charge, but instead did finally cancel my membership.

I wouldn't recommend anyone use Hound.com to find jobs on the Internet. Instead, I recommend using the free job websites, such as Monster, YahooHotjobs, or Careerbuilder.
