CPS IN WASHINGTON STATE They took my son away from me because my ex husband broke my son's arm. I am doing everything they have asked me to do and i am still getting the run around from them. They are lying to me. My son is currently in CPS/foster care and i am wanting to get him back, or make it to where my parents can get him. I am currently working on getting him back. Lakewood, Washington

My name is Jessica M, i recently lost my son to CPS in March 2009. He was taken into CPS care after he was taken to the hospital with a broken arm.  I had signed a voluntary placement form which was only supposed to be for 30 days and after the 30 days my son was supposed to be placed back in my care, which did not happen. My ex husband broke my son's arm and that is why he was taken. My son has been in foster care for 5 months now and i am only allowed to see him once a week for 2 hours, which i dont feel is fair. I'm not being treated fairly by CPS. They do not call me back when i call and leave messages, they are not doing what they told me they were going to do, which was help me find housing, a job, see if i qualified for SSI, they have lied to me, they are never available. They were supposed to increase my visits with my son from 2 hours a week to 4 hours and from 4 hours a week to 2 days a week and then to overnights, which they have not increased my visits due to  their budget so they told me. Im getting the run around with them, and i dont appreciate getting lied to, getting the run around. I want my son back, i haven't done anything wrong. My parents passed a backround check and fingerprinting and they were supposed to get my son but CPS made up several excuses of why they couldn't get him and my parents haven't done anything wrong and there is no reason why my parents or i can't get him back. My son means everything in the world to me and my parents. I feel like cps is slowly taking my parental rights away, because they aren't doing anything. My son has been hurt in foster care and they didnt investigate him getting hurt, he had blisters on his fingers and his fingers were red, they looked like they had been burned, and i was not a happy mom. I want my son back, if you can help me that would be great. I need help, im getting screwed and its not right and not fair. Please help me.
