My young grand daughter received a $25.00 Barnes & Noble gift card. When she tried to use it Barnes & Noble refused to let her use it and said she needed to have a credit card. I asked why and they said she "might" spend more than the $25.00 and the credit card would be used for any overages.
I said she would make sure she didn't spend more than the $25.00 and they still refused.
I asked for the return of the money and Barnes & Noble refused.
Is there any way to get her money?

going to a store and making your purchase. But I receive B&N gift cards all the time and have never had their website ask for a credit/debit card unless I was purchasing more than was available on the gift card. How was she trying to place her order???
