George S May International Co ripoff Face to Face with the Enemy Park Ridge Illinois

Today was a very interesting day, I had three consultants from George S May company in our office today after regretably sighning the "agreement" with them on Friday.

After reading about them over the weekend and talking to others at our company, I finally realised that I mad a huge mistake and was determined to kill the project before it even began. To that end I made up the letter that the "agreement" stipulated and presented it to the account manager and told them to leave immediately. They didn't.

It wasn't until after getting our Vice President and CFO in the confrence room with me that we were able to get them out of the building. They then sat in the parking lot for nearly 45 minutes. I finally had to call the police. The officer talked with them for another five to ten minutes after wiich they finally left.

They didn't have a chance to present an invoice. I told the policeman to have them mail it to me. We'll see what happens next.

Wisconsin has a law which gives the signee three days to either accept or refuse a contract. We shall see if this law applies to the contract you signe with them stating that you cannot cancel the contract until after the first day.

If you ever make the same mistake I made, confront them with force and don't back down.

You are on the line your on the hook ..you have been had!

Once you sign the contract your on the hook for air fair for the team to come in and depart, rental cars, hotel bills and the hourly rate per person for at least ONE full TEN HOUR DAY EACH plus $35.00 each to feed them.

Do the math;
3 people X $156.00 per hour = $468.00
$468.00 X 10 hours = $4,680.00
PLUS Plane tickets! Lets say cheapo tickets $400 each X 3 = $1,200.00 EACH WAY! $2,400.00 TOTAL!
Oh rental cars say they came from the airport in two cars (never less) $150.00

Oh and besides the hourly rate do not forget the $35.00 per day per person = $105.00.
Hotel remember they check into the hotel YOU recommended $65.00 each for one day = $195.00 plus taxes
GRAND TOTAL for ONE day of George S. May consultants to come in and FIX the problems in your business.

$7,530.00 FOR THE FIRST DAY. Can you see any way to cover that in one day?

With George S May the only way to get them to depart is to give them a letter stating you're happy with the service you received! LOL

OH by the way if your not happy they WILL send in more consultants OFF the clock until your happy. Like the saying goes, "BUT WATE THERE IS MORE" you get to pay the EXPENSES of the consultants who come in OFF the clock to make you happy. Lets see Hotel, Air-fairs, Cars and $35.00 for food each. Here is what you can expect for a FREE OFF the clock job.
$2,400.00 Air-fairs
$ 150.00 Cars
$ 195.00 Hotel
$ 105.00 Per person for food.
$2,800.00 TO MAKE YOU HAPPY! After you have found out you have been had!

THANK YOU RIP OFF REPORT! George S. May Corp. is a fake

I wish I read Rip Off Report before we got in trouble. We were, "Visited" by George S. May Consultants / Business Analyst not long ago. My husband and I were to get an analysis on a Thursday but the week before I received, “THE CALL”. I let them early in because they said they had a person near us who's appointment was unable to make it, I was told they would lower the survey fee from $350.00 to $100 if they could send in an analyst to review our company that Monday afternoon. Regrettably I took the bait while my husband was out of town. After a short interview that sounded like they truly understood the issues plaguing our company I signed up for the service after I was SHOWN that we were in real trouble. They even had me call my husband out on a trip with a client to give me the okay to fix the problems in the business. I was shown how much it would cost $168.00 per hour plus some expenses. I signed up on a Monday then had three people plus the project manager in my office on Tuesday morning. By Friday we were out OVER $25,000.00 in fees and expenses with nothing to show for it. My husband is devastated, I am devastated SHAME on George S. May International & the crooks they sent to bilk us at the rate of $168.00 per hour! The outrage does not stop there we are out George S. May will not respond we want our money back!

Thanks for the Heads Up

Timing is Everything. 2 guys from George S. May came in and cold called my business today with a very slick sales pitch. This guy had too smooth a response to every question I posed ... even had answeres coming out of his mouth before the question was finished. He was writing up the paperwork before I even gave him an indication I was interested. He was quite shocked when I told him I don't make any decisions on the spot and want to "check them out" first. He still tried to "slide" into a date for their
$350 Preliminary Study but I told him to just give me a tel. number and I'd call when I made up my mind. He failed to mention that the fine print of the paperwork stated in was non-cancelable ... even if set a date for 3 weeks from now and changed my mind on monday!!!

I ran a google search and found this site. Good Thing!!!

Here is what to expect them to say if you ask about RIP OFF REPORT

If you ask about all the reports on RIP OFF REPORT about George S. May you will be told look up other companies that have been around for 78 years. You will be told that the reports here do not represent the 500,000 PLUS successfully run jobs they have done. You will also be directed to the BBB web site where they have a clean PAID for record.

Peal back the onion and smell the stinking truth, the 500,000 plus CLIENTS they report to have are simply 500,000 companies that have had a SURVEY run on the company, who may or may not have given the go ahead to get management services. That is correct 500,000 SALES pitches where the CLIENT PAID and or were comped to be pitched by high pressure sales reps.

Then they will point you to their web site where all the testimonials of CLIENTS will be posted with the contact information retracted. They will explain this is because they are bonded for $500,000.00 for YOUR protection and the protection of their clients. A bond is not a bond if you give permission to let others contact you. If they are so good a small business owner should be happy to shout the good name of George S. May International from there roof top. Now remember to get them to depart your company if you sign up with them you HAVE to give such a letter to get them off your property.

Before you let the wolf in the door get ten references that you can call in your industry before your survey. Remember their web site clearly states they have been around for over 78 years and have been in all types of businesses, SO they should have NO problem with providing you with ten references in your industry. Unless your the only company of your kind in the USA, Canada or Mexico remember they are trying to SELL you on fixing your company to out preform all the others in your industry that they have all ready fixed.
