the IRS is collecting taxes from American citizens who earn a SALARY or a WAGE on their LABOR, but in fact, there is no 'Law' that requires the IRS to do so, according to what was stated in that documentary.
From everything stated in that documentary, and from what I was told by a Certified Public Accountant, there is no 'Law' that requires an American who earns a SALARY or a WAGE on his or her LABOR to pay Federal Income TAX.
It appears that Federal Income Tax is a Tax on 'PROFITS' & 'GAINS'. It was intended for companies & corporations. When an American worker earns a wage on his or her labor, that is NOT a 'PROFIT' or a 'GAIN', correct? Here are some examples of what a 'PROFIT' or a 'GAIN' would be for a typical American worker-
*Hitting a jackpot at a casino.
*Hitting the lotto.
*Realizing a PROFIT on the sale of one's stock.
*Having a business that earns PROFITS.
***HOWEVER, according to many TAX ATTORNEYS, ACCOUNTANTS, FORMER IRS AGENTS, & others, the money that is earned by one's 'LABOR' is NOT a profit or a gain because there was an even exchange. (You performed a task and were paid a salary or a wage for that task, which was a result of your LABOR). You CAN 'voluntarily comply' and pay taxes on your labor if you'd like, but there is no 'Law' that requires you to do it, according to many TAX EXPERTS, FORMER IRS AGENTS, TAX ATTORNEYS, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS, & others.
The best thing to do is to ask a TAX EXPERT this question: "Is there a 'Law' that requires an American, who earns a salary or a wage on his or her LABOR, to pay Federal Income Tax?"
A Certified Public Accountant, who I met with on March 11th 2009, told me that there is NO LAW that requires an American who earns a wage on his or her LABOR to pay Federal Income Tax.
Thank You.
