I've known Celeita for 30 years and Crossed Sabers / Second Wind for 16 years and have adopted and donated to them. I have been on her farm, volunteered for years and know the quality care she gives to all the animals.
She works for the horses, not people. She testifies against criminals cheating people by selling horses and lying about them, she goes in with many sheriffs into neglect cases to remove starved horses and testifies against them in courts of law, she has to remove horses that are being starved by people, she makes criminal complaints against people hurting horses and small animals. She also has to tell people no to their adoption applications when they are dishonest on their application and all these things make people mad. She's been operating for 16 years in this capacity so tell me if all these things were true, why has she not been arrested, investigated, charged, or even sued by people that she suppposedly cheated. She's never had any of those things happen. She has even had to fire volunteers and employees who has hurt horses and when she finds out they do not care about the animals but are only there for 'whats in it for them'. She is against slaughtering horses and our pets and pro-slaughter advocates lie about her too because they know she hurts their business is selling horses and cheating people and sending horses to slaughter just to make money. She has also been an expert witness on many horse cases for personal injury making defendents mad that she has proved they were unsafe and put people's life at risk by bad horse management. She has been the key witness in several grand jury cases where people were frauded by conartist having to do with horse sales and Celeita again, helped put them in jail. These are people that have cheated people and hurt horses and Celeita helped put them in jail and they are mad about it. If they really had a case, why don't they sue her? That is what people do when they have a real case. You see, they don't because they are wrong and lying about a woman and a program that has put over 2000 horses into homes and over 500 small animals and tracked them for life in their homes.
In reality Celeita is a 23 year veteran as an Army officer and helicopter test pilot, and with a glowing military record. She is a military hero using a helicopter to save lives, she has numorous military and civilian awards, she is in the Womens Military museum in Washington, DC, she was in the Smithsonian institutes display on Women in Aviation, she was the youngest woman to ever be inducted into the WV Womens Hall of Fame, She has been named Woman of the Year, one of the most outstanding American Women, one of the 5000 most outstanding Women of the World. Because they know people like Celeita stands for something, for the right, the truth, for caring for horses and not lying and cheating others for money and when you stand for something, you do end up having bad people that do not like you. The horse industry needs someone like Celeita, she goes out of her way to educated adopters and all horse owners about horses and about these bad people that are out to cheat others in order to make money. For years, we have all tried to convince Celeita to sue them for the millions this program has lost because of these lies, she does not want to. why? Because she is concerned about how much time it will take away from helping horses and small animals that need help, because of the number of horses that will be slaughtered and the number of dogs that will die in a shelter during that time. Even after all these crazy lies, she is still focused on helping the animals that need her.
