. I have done a lot of research on this scam websites for addiction related Interventions. I spoke to countless victims who got scammed specially in Southern California. This is my report;
if they operate with an 800, 877, 866 number then they are definitely a money making operation. Even the well known interventionists like Ken Seeley who is an ego maniacal, narcissist will take you to the cleaners and behave like he now runs your family. if you make the mistake of hiring a lot of these ego maniacs they will clean your bank account and if things don't turn out well they will blame it on the " Dysfunctional family" or the sick, alcoholic addict you are trying to help. They will blame anybody but themselves. I would suggest websites with legitimate numbers (local prefixes) that can be tracked down and speak only to the Director who would be happy to provide references of successful interventions. Remember; the bigger the name, the bigger the ego maniac behind it. STAY AWAY FROM THE 800- 877- 866 number SCAMS. THEY ARE BOILER ROOM OPERATIONS and the phone is always answered by a pressure salesperson who will not leave you alone after you call.

I have also been severely victimized by Ken Seeley and 911 Intervention. I am looking for a lawyer to file suit against them and have the financial resources to go through the legal process.

If anyone wants to join me in a malpractice lawsuit against Seeley, respond to this post.
This joker, a former meth addict, runs interventions but is not a licensed therapist or psychiatrist. He could not possibly understand the complex dynamics of a family in crisis without these professional designations. It can take even therapist and psychiatrists months or years to find out the root cause of a problem and develop solutions. And most often, chemical dependence is in fact a family problem. For example, a family member may "self-medicate" to deal with the abuses of another family member. An intervention in this case does not get to the root cause, not that Seeley is even qualified to offer solutions to problems like this.
He simply believes that because he has personally witnessed the hardships of chemincal dependence, that he has the right to judge whether a person should be forced to go to treatment. He does not gather evidence as a lawyer would that an invtervention is warranted.
To the contrary, you simply hire him and he does what he is paid to do...throw the target of the intervention out on the street to fend for himself. There is no deliberation or discussion of other alternatives. There is no process of verifying accusations because he would lose the element of surprise which is the source of his power to use an intervention.
If the target does not cooperate and go to an expensive treatment center, he advises the complaintant to file a restraining order. He makes alot of money doing this.
Let's stop lowlife from hurting families.
