American Intercontinental University AIU Online No credits or anything else transfers from this college Hoffman Estates, Illinois

 I wanted to go to school after 20 years.I decided to do online classes at AIU after being contacted by their school advisor. I asked as many questions I could. My main concern was if this college was an accredited school, and if I decided to transfer would my credits follow.

The advisor said they would follow me to whatever shcool I dedided to transfer to. After completing a semester at the school, I wanted to be back in the class room instead of doing online classes. Every school I contacted would not and do not accept credits from this school. No one will accept them.

When taking these classes, I could fell as many classes as I wanted. All you have to do is keep paying until you pass. In many of my classes all you had to do was turn in anything, you would receive a passing grade. In the disscusion board, my peers would responde to other classmate post with one or two senteces and receive an A.

They really got my with the book charges. I would fail a course and have to pay to repeat the course. Our books was ebook on our computers, so they would  charge you for the  same infomation that you had already paid to use. 

I had to ask why the prices for tution kept changing every month or two. They infomed me that the classes that have 6 credits cost a certain amount and 4 credits cost a certain amount. I know I paid $6000 for two classos that was 6 credits each. You have 2 classes every 5 weeks and those classes could be one 6 credit class and a 4 credit clasee.

We have two classes every 5 weeks. This is what I paid for tution on 10/09 ($3000), 1/10 ($3000), 3/10 ($5000), 6/10 ($3500), 8/10 ($5500), 11/10 ($6,000), 2/11 ($3000). A pure tipoff. I have graduated from AIU on March 13, 2011 with an associate degree in healthcare administration. I have to start over as a freshman because I can not transfer not one credit. I just wasted my money and time for nothing.
