I have been laughed out of interviews, and fired because of lack of knowledge in the field since graduating from ITT. I'm seriously in the hole with these loans, and the education will never pay for itself.

You have a worthless degree

If prospective employers are "laughing in your face" then your degree is worthless. It is tacky to say the least to be "laughed out of interviews" and the more diplomatic approach would have not to contact you for an interview. If you have been fired because of lack of knowledge and you graduated from ITT then you can try filing a complaint with the Department of Education.

Unfortunately, you are a victim of "process the bodies, suckers, students, etc.", "Get them student loan dollars", "close the sale today", etc. by admission "representatives" (aka salesman) whose job is dependent on getting YOU to enroll in the school.

Unfortunately, your credits won't transfer to a reputable 4 year institution.
