Progressive Business Publications Hard Sell, but quick to cancel Malvern Pennsylvania

To cut a PBP telemarketer short - who made it sound so simple to try the 30-day free trial, I said "okay". When I received what I believed was junk mail from them, I didn't bother opening the "newsletters". I happened to open the "second notice" invoice and went on-line to send an email to their customer service with this in the body: "I never wanted and never received any newsletters and will request the postal service investigate your use of the U.S. mail in operating, what appears to be, an unlawful operation."

Less than 2 hours later Lisa responded with this statement: "Please be advised, per your request, the account has been canceled with a zero balance. Please be aware an issue and/or invoice may have been gathered or sent prior to cancellation, therefore it is possible that you may receive them. Please keep any issue with our compliments."

After that prompt response I sent her an apology for over-reacting to what I expected would be a long, drawn-out process.

My suggestion is if you sign-up for free trials or 12 months same as cash - put the deadline on the calendar or suffer the consequences.
