I just got billed $189.00 for the second time for my "free cd' from the learning professor. Free costs a lot more now than what it used to.

The customer service representative that I spoke with told me that their policies are clearly stated on their website. I did not go to their website looking for the "free cd", I was directed their through a link because I was concerned about loosing my job and was doing research to see what was out there.I don't remember reading that I would be charged $189.00 for a free cd. When the second package came, I knew something was wrong and returned it right away marked "return to sender". I did not know it was $189.00 wrong. The customer service representative said they did not receive it yet and I only had 30 days for it to be returned to them or I would have no option to recover my money. I sent it back 4 days after I received it.

I don't remember any of the things the representative said was on the web page. I do remember being concerned about being layed off at the company I work for. I do remember thinking that this free cd might give me a boost in computer knowledge if I had to get a new job. I did keep my job so I did not even use the cd.

Is the company wrong? Was I stupid? I am not sure but I do know one thing, "People should avoid the Video Professor at all costs". The one lesson that you are sure to learn is do not trust the video professor.

The customer representative is very well versed on what to say when asked about the questionable practices of this company. I'm thinking that's because they must get a lot of calls about their $$189.00 free cd or at least the billing of $189.00 for their "free cd''. I don't know if they are committing fraud or not, but it sure feels like I've been had.

I will tell everyone I know and come in contact with that avoid them at all costs and if you can't then engage a lawyer, because they are going to take your money.
