Signed up with service on July 22, 2005 Discovered that this company doesn't provide services as advertised. Women are literally PORN STARS - NOT your average local gal at all. You get any responses at all, they end up enticing you and then attempt to get you to visit other websites where you must pay additional money for "Age Verification" to actually get the person's information and to actually communicate. Unfortunately, it's a SCAM!!
The website is extremely slow loading at times (and we even have DSL!) - most members on the website haven't been active for over a year in many cases! Good luck ever getting an actual 'date' out of this service.
Worst of all.. I called their customer service to report my complaints to them and asked for a refund and closure of my account immediately. They refused a refund and said that since I used their website even one time, they will not refund my money.
Called my credit card company at Merrick Bank and they told me since I "participated with the merchant" that no charge-backs are legally permitted on their end either.
If you sign up for this service, you will be scammed, spammed by porno industry mogules and taken for the ride of your life with no chance for a refund. Buyer BEWARE!! All this service is, is a ramped up porno black hole which is being used to sucker people into it with enticement after enticement, only to use you as a marketing pawn. Essentially, you are paying them to be marketed TO! The individuals who thought this scam up put lots of criminal thought behind it and unfortunately for millions of users, they've been had!! Don't be their next victim. If you give them a try, don't say you haven't been warned.
This company needs to be shut down, and NOW, before they con anyone any further.
Government officials seem to allow such garbage to continue while people are losing hard-earned money to these jerks. Perhaps it is time they endure a large amount of embarassment through letters to editors to every newspaper in the nation concerning their unwillingness to shut these idiots down before anyone else gets taken. I urge any of you who have been taken by these people to follow my lead - write a letter to your local editors of magazines, newspapers, put out fliers in your local adult stores if you frequent them warning as many as you possibly can. If our government and lawyers can't handle a simple crime syndicate as Adult Friendfinder... then it almost seems they can't handle matters of homeland defense either in my humble opinion.
When it comes to Adult Friendfinder, it appears the only thing that will work is pure, good old-fashioned vigilantism! Let us get to it.
