I am a network engineer for NASA. This company started calling me AT WORK and leaving cryptic, pre-recorded messages on my voicemail. Each time I call them back, I get a recording. I am dying to find out how they are planning to rip me off after reading all these reports. I know for a fact that our computers are not only patched to the hilt and behind secure firewalls, but I know exactly what is on my computer and I have no spywere, malware or "autodialers" and you can be damn sure that if me or anyone on my computer visited an adult website.

My boss would have received a phone call within seconds and I would have been terminated. NASA has a zero tolerance for surfing porn.

I find it peculiar that if they are after me, why are they calling a government phone number and not my home number?

You can also be assured that home computer is as secure as my work compter. Plus, my home computer is only on for a few hours a month and I KNOW there is no auto dialer on it either.

I wish just once that a human would call or that a human would answer when I call back. I can't wait to see what they are trying to pull with me. Plus, if a recording is calling me and I get an answering machine when I call back, how are they expecting to contact me? It's all very fishy to me.
