Sexinyourcity.com ,SIYC Another scam with many faces - beware Internet

This has got to be one of the better scam ideas I've seen - The female profiles are fake and often times include yahoo email addresses which are also used on yahoo messenger. Once contact is made through yahoo messenger the contact quickly offers up a web site she wishes u to go to and vote for her, of course its free, but requires a credit card number, right ! Another slant is the girl is guiding you to a web cam site, again a credit card number is required. The one I like the best is the girl who falls in love with you in about 15 minutes.

I actually led one of these gals/guys along for over a week using messenger to the point of a $2700.oo plane ticket from Nigeria to the USA. and of course she/he wanted cash no prepaid ticket would do. I have to admit it was fun scamming the scammer. Another girl was in florida but her emails came from a business in NY, her mother was dying in LA CA and of course she didnt have the money to get there. Most of these profiles use professional photos of models from some other web site. The easiest tell is the english grammer of these posters. Its terrible at best. I would suggest you not give out your email address or any other contact information to these people. I can only imagine how bad this will get once countries like Nigeria have better access to the web. Also check the IP address of any emails u get to find out where they came from.

The other problem I had with this site was canceling my subscription was nearly impossible. The web site uses a billing company, another web site but that company has no affliation with SIYC. I finally got an email confirmation of cancellation so we shall see if they stop the automatic billing. Dont bother with this site, its just your basic RIPOFF - Good luck
