    ...the right way!
    Corporate Advocacy Program
www.VerifyHIM.com spam solicited me for client verification services for escorts, and they are a total scam. I am an escort and run an agency as well for 8 years now. They are new, so I decided to check them out. On its “About” page it says it’s a Singapore based company, so that in itself is suspicious and scary because it operates outside of, and with no regard for US laws. If you sign up you could be putting your identity and your credit card information into the hands of identity thieves. They say they are operated by OffShore Tech Limited, and I have not been able to verify anywhere that such a company exists.

In my research, according to the Domain registration at Go Daddy, the website Domain went live just 4 months ago in July of 2010, yet they have exact” word for word” posts I’ve personally put on National Blacklist over the years from as far back as 2006. How can this be? They obviously somehow stole the content from NationalBlacklist.com as the posts in their registry are publicly accessible. VerifyHim.com even states on their website that they provide client information against a blacklist database (yeah... NATIONAL BLACKLIST'S), and all client's information is gathered from many internet footprints obtained from many escort sites/forums, social networks, and public databases. With this statement it appears they are openly admitting they are using or stealing data from various adult sites, and they specifically mention TER, P411, and Roomservice (RS2K).

While this seems to be illegal, unethical, and without permission from any of these website’s there may be nothing any of these web communities and forums can do. But what you can do, is to not reward these criminals for their obvious illegal activity by not signing up for their service when they spam email and solicit you.

It is blatantly obvious they stole all their content from various and long standing trusted websites that service the escorts and hobbyists’ community, and now they are trying to take your money for work they didn’t create or earn.

The real question is, and what you all should be really scared of, is who knows what they will do with your membership information once they have it. They obviously did not get into the business to help escorts. So, would they then sell your name, identity, and credit card information to identity thieves? Because this is where the real money is for them, and this is what should scare the living crap out of you!

Personally I would not give my name and credit card information to an overseas company especially one whose business is built on stealing another business's information. We are constantly warned by the government watch dogs and the media how over seas operations is where so much internet fraud and identity theft practices take place, and they feel safe in doing so because they feel they are out of reach of the US Government and US laws!

Do not subscribe to VerifyHim.com, and beware of any new businesses like this that pretends to be your friend or offers you help, when they have no proven history to show their trustworthiness.

Be safe ladies!

About the poster’s defaming post

AUTHOR: VerifyHim.com - (Singapore)

Hi,
As a founder of VerifyHim.com, I would like to dispute this report as defamation. All of the accusations are not factual and overly paranoid. I will try to provide more information about VerifyHim.com and hopefully will clear everything out.

+ The Poster’s Identity Thief Charge: No, we are not scamming anybody. If you register with VerifyHim.com, we don’t ask for any personal information. The only information we ask is your escort information so we can verify that you are a legitimate escort. VerifyHim.com has rejected many applications because we only allow escorts to join our network.

Also, registration with VerifyHim.com is Free. We don’t ask for any banking/credit card information at all. In fact, if you are a low volume user, you can use the site for free. The poster claimed that we collect personal information, but anybody who goes to our Register page will see otherwise.

For high volume users and those who want to use VerifyHim.com’s advanced features, we use a third party processor to deal with the financial information. We don’t store or process financial transactions ourselves. Our users’ financial information is secured within the banking industry standard by the processing company. Using a 3rd-party processor is a common practice by many ecommerce websites (TER uses CCBILL, DangerZone uses GreenDot/Paypal).  However at this time of my writing, we haven’t had our payment site fully up yet so we only accept certain providers for our premium pilot program (The “BETA” in our logo is there for a reason). Again, we don’t ask for identification information and we are not scamming anybody.

+ Being an offshore company is actually an advance in this business. Escorts.com, a popular US-based site was raided by the FBI recently is a strong evidence of that fact. Actually, due to the nature of Big Brother, many adult sites are moving out of the US. P411 is not from the US. Singapore is a pro business country with a strong technology infrastructure. There is nothing wrong with having our business running from here.

+ Our Blacklist database is gathered from several sources. And the blacklist database is FREE to our users. I would like to stretch that fact again so there won’t be any misunderstanding. The blacklist information has been copied and used by many other escort sites. There are also other free escort blacklist sites that a provider should consider (Dz, PBuzz). Similarly, VerifyHim.com doesn’t charge for using our blacklist database, it is not how our site is depended on.  VerifyHim.com focuses more on deep data aggregation. We gather information from public available sources and connect the dots together to have a full report of an individual. An escort can do the same thing without using VerifyHim.com but it can take hours or even days. Our goal is to help escorts making an informed decision about meeting a client. We are here to help.

+ Our Domain information is protected for obvious reasons. Most adult websites have their domain information obscured. According to Erin Myer,a  popular escort author, all escorts having a website should have their domain information protected. VerifyHim.com does the same thing. There shouldn’t be any controversy about it.

I hope all the information above will clear things out about the poster’s defaming post.  I don’t want to comment on the poster’s intention because it can get out of hand quick. If this become a troll war then I won’t reply anymore (let’s hope not!).

Reply to the founder of VerifyHim.com

AUTHOR: Escort Reviews - San Diego (United States of America)

Thank you for openly admitting to stealing other website’s property. You stated in your rebuttal, “VerifyHim.com focuses on deep data aggregation. We gather information from public available sources…. “Basically this means you are admitting to hacking into other’s websites, and harvesting (stealing) their data. This is not only a violation of each of those website’s Terms of Agreement, but by US law it is theft of intellectual property and may even violate the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act).

For those who are reading this and do not know what is going on, some aggregation website are well known and accepted, for example… all these well known travel websites… Travelocity, Expedia, Kayak, Orbitz, Priceline, all are travel and hotel industry aggregators, but they are overlooked and accepted because they operate honestly. When these websites book travel arrangements they actually go ahead and pay the specific airlines for the tickets they sell, and they pay the hotels for the accommodations they book. But not VerifyHim.com. They are stealing other website’s data and trying to sell it as their own. I checked, they have no agreements in place with any of the websites they allege to be aggregating their data from, they are taking other’s website's hard earned data and customer information without permission and trying to sell it as their own. This is out and out fraud!

You also say in your rebuttal, “If you register with VerifyHim.com, we don’t ask for any personal information.” and you also state, “We don’t ask for any banking/credit card information at all.” Really? Here is the link to your “Subscription Info”: http://www.verifyhim.com//pg/expages/read/Sub/ and the link is located on your home page (middle left). Gee if anyone fills out the payment form, you obviously will obtain all of that person’s personal identity information and their credit card information. So what gives?

Perhaps you under estimated the intelligence and businesslike manner of many escorts. Escorts have always had to be careful and suspicious with the intentions of others. You call it paranoia to justify your bad business ethics, we call it being careful and prudent.

You’re trying to obtain the trust and money of escorts without having put in the years of hard work or developing a trusting rapport with the escorts community.

Since you’re openly stealing other website’s content, it is obvious why your domain is hidden, and it’s clearly not for the reasons you cite. There is no amount of justification you can give me or other escorts that will allow us to trust you and your website. The client verification websites you mention here and on your website, TER, P411, Room Service, Provider Buzz, DangerZone411, National Blacklist have all been around for years. Most are owned and operated by well known and respected escorts, and over the years they have developed community good will and earned our trust, which you will be hard pressed to obtain considering your unethical tactics.

Lastly, we, meaning all the ladies at our agency, also find it interesting that your rebuttal mentions Escorts.com and how it was raided by the FBI, and you use that as justification for your sudden appearance and highly questionable existence. Thank you for giving us another reason to be suspicious of you.

There are two things escorts do not trust, one are obvious scammers, and the other is Law Enforcement. And frankly, if no one knows who you are, and you’re using such sophisticated software to obtain people’s personal information without permission, you could be either for all we know.

Good luck!

I agree it is a scam

AUTHOR: verify__scamp - (United States of America)

I signed up as a PAYING MEMBER of their site (they obviously had no problem with that).  All of a sudden, when I forgot my user name and kindly sent them THREE e-mails stating that I had forgotten it (with the SAME E-MAIL ADDRESS I HAD REGISTERED WITH), they completely ignored me.  What a joke.  They are theives who just want your money and couldn't give two sh**s about your safety.

Another attempt to defame our community

AUTHOR: VerifyHIm - (United States of America)

The person who posted above have never been a paying member of VerifyHim. She was a free member for a short while and was banned from VerifyHim. I won't go into much details why we kicked her off VerifyHim out of respect for her. It's sad that she choose to make up stuff (she was never a paid member) to make us look bad here. I believe in karma
