Jason Hescott was a local graphic designer in Rogers, AR. I got acquainted with him when he worked at Mars Advertising agency. Jason called me to ask if I would do several sets of renderings for him of some furniture aisles for Walmart. I agreed to do the work and he got me the files that I needed. I did the work and it came to 32 hours ($2400 total). My payment terms were clear (Due 30 Days after you receive my invoice.) After 30 days I started to send reminders for payment each week. He would eventually answer and give me a sob story on why he could pay his bills.

During this time he informed me that he did get paid on this job and that he would be sending me payment soon. Never happened. I finally tracked him down at another agency in Little Rock called Exit Marketing. I spoke with the owner and he informed me that Jason had be let go due to an investigation of Jason plagiarizing some work. I wasn't really surprised. Long story short, 8 months went by and he eventually filed Chapter 11 in the state of Arkansas. Now he lives in Minnesota and works as an art director for Best Buy. This is just a word of warning for anyone that does business with him. He's a liar, thief and untrustworthy. He's a total disgrace to the design community.
