CIC Triple Advantage debited account $29.95 for a 3-credit agency report W/O the website indicating cost Irvine California

I had looked online to get a credit report from all 3 agencies back in March 2008 from freecreditreport.com. Then I began getting charged $12.95/month by CIC Triple Advantage. I had not requested any credit reports at all. On 9/9/08, having found the phone #, I called to cancel the service and was told that my subscription was good until 9/25/08.

I requested my 1st Experian and 1st 3-agency report on 9/10. On 9/12/08, I saw my account debited $29.95!! I did not see any indication that there was a charge at all on the site, otherwise I would not have ordered my "free credit report".

Phone call to the company 9/12/08 met with argument from a customer service rep that I had to confirm my request that was submitted, but he could not answer where on the order site was the charge. I'm reluctant to revisit the order site to recheck the information because I don't want to incur another fee.

Do you have any suggestions?
