Before I received their brochure via postal mail, a representative of theirs phoned my home. But I was not at home and when my spouse offered to take the person's phone number that person did not want to give a number. This was the first signal to me that Davison may not be legitimate.
The Davison promotional mailing pamphlet I received looks impressive but the so-called confidentiality document they enclose looks to me to be a dead giveaway as a come-on to the innocent inventor. It lacks the word agreement and it is all of 6 lines short. As a supposed binding and legal document with about 2/3 of its space meant for the inventor to describe several aspects of an invention it looks extremely atypical.
The same representative called me again and seemed anxious to know when I would be sending their confidentiality document to them. I explained that first I would check out the company with the SEC, BBB, etc. I am very glad I found ripoffreport.com because it has reinforced my suspicions.
I believe that I read the signs right, and I hope other inventors will now be forwarned.
