I am just sick at my stomach and very heartbroken.Just yesterday I called them for information.Liz Kakara spoke with me from fashionrock. We spoke for an hour. She asked if I was ready for an interview,Ithought, why not.In the interview I told her I needed to call my husband and okay the "$1195.00" with him.She said she would hold.If I terminated the interview,I couldn't compete for another year. It had to be finalized now.

I tried calling him on a different phone, but he never answered.I continued with the interview. She said I "was phenominal"I played my demo cd for her and she said I was great. And I should compete. She made me feel very right about this. That I had it in the bag.Liz told me alot of success stories, pointing out through the website all the winners.I was so hiped. She told me it would be a one time fee of $995.00. OR, I could make payments of $199.00down and $199.00per month from February to July.I had to go with the payments because I,to be honest,I am poor.My daughter graduates in July, that means I have prom and a senior trip to Chicago from Texas to finance.I have 2 other kiddos.

I just didn't have the money. But,I was bigheaded and thought I could become a star through these people. I was told "100's" of producers and label holders would be there for me to have total access to.So,I thought it was worth the initial fees. She then told me my travel expenses were my own. And my husband would have to pay to go.$795.00 or payments of $100.00 per month.WOW!But if we couldn't afford for him to go,I would have to share my room with another contestant. How am I going to go a thousand miles and share a room, sleep comfortably with a stranger?Hopefully not a thief or killer or whatever. If I paid my full amount why do have to share with anyone? She said I could use my credit card and I told her I preferred to use my checking account.

I gave them the information, and they took the $199.00.She said I will receive a packet in the mail with all information.I felt good about this so far.BUT,today I got online to look for cheap travel to Orlando from Texas from ask.com.This rip-off report came up. I was mortified!Instant sickness.I will cancel my account and start a new one. I was taken for $200.00.I read alot of people lost thousands.I am so sorry this happened to any of us and I thank God I didn't go further. Please let me know what to do now.I do know I will not go through with this.Thank you all so much for the information.

First get all your money back. Then, send a donation.

This site just saved you a ton of money. You were damn lucky.

Other victims pay to go down there, sing their hearts out, and come home feeling stupid and broke, with nothing to show for it.

It was hard trying to follow your story, but are you telling me they cheated you out of your money right over the phone? Damn, either they're good, or you really wanted to believe.

Do you know how to get the bank to help you with a refund? Close the account so they can't steal the money back again.

In the future, watch out for the internet. It's OK to read stuff, or look at pictures, but don't call anyone or go sending any email for more information. That's like opening the door and letting fraud come walking right in.

My daughter would just LOVE to get into acting. Everytime she has a lead about an agency, she comes to me and we do a search on the name of the company on here (ripoff report) Am I glad they are here so she can read why I do not just fork over money for us to get ripped off.

I was told the interview HAD to be done right then when we called or not given another chance for a whole year (as did John Robert Powers). And as I told them "Then if I have to rush into something, then It is not worth it for me!!!!!!"
