Fax87.com FarFani.com Fails to honor "No Questions Asked" Trial Offer Redmond, Washington

Fax87.com, an online fax service, says on their web site (http://fax87.com/faqs/):

A - Sign up with confidence as we have a 30 Days money back guarantee on top of our free trial. No question asked. Just let us know and you will be refunded immediately.

I signed up for their service for $4.99 per month.

To see how it worked I sent a test fax to myself (a pdf file from my desktop). My credit card was immediately charged $25.50. I contacted their office via online chat to request the charge be removed. The representative was rude and refused to refund the charge saying I exceeded the page allowance. I attempted to explain the fact that I was a new customer and I sent a test fax to myself. He rudely declined issuing any kind of credit.

I then emailed to CANCEL the account under their "no questions asked guarantee." They again refused to refund the charges.

To add insult to injury, two days later I was charged ANOTHER $10, even though I hadn't used the service since sending the test fax and canceling the service.

I have filed dispute with my credit card company. The representative there said he had another client who had the same problem with Fax87.com.

Avoid Fax87.com. There are many other online fax alternatives available - especially those who understand the lifetime value of their customers as well as the importance of customer service.
