Well- after several messages or more...they sent me a tracking number BUT the tracking number was no good. I went online to put in the tracking number and it said invalid. So I called UPS personally and they confirmed that the number was missing like 3 digits. So tehre still was no confirmation of my package and I still hadn't gotten it.
So FINALLY after emailing support at FIFA/Mcdonalds and getting the same old thing and being given generated messages I called customer service....and let me inform you that I eventually got a number for FIFA/Mcdonalds but they never answered the phone or returned my messages/ CRAZY- a big corporation like that not having live assistance!
Ok...but like I was starting to say in the beginning. I called customer support on Mcdonalds MAIN site...this is not the customer support for FIFA prizes...but still I was desperate..I mean I just wanted to make good on their word...so yeah I called them and a lady took my info. She told me to call FIFA support number for redeeming prizes. Thats the number you call if it's been like waaaay past 8 weeks and you still haven't gotten your prize.
I told her that I had called, emailed, etc...and no one called back- only got messages lying to me telling me they were gonna mail it out next week and then nothing...and then next week...and again nothing - like I said I was getting nowhere!
So she said she was going to personally send the FIFA support people an email....
And wow!!!! They called the same day - maybe just like 30 minutes later. Anywho the woman seem nice but I didnt like the way she went about it...she had read the complaint in the email sent to her that I hadn't gotten a real tracking number so she callas me and starts reading off the tracking number and it is the same exact number that was emailed to me...the one missing like 3 digits...this woman pauses and waits for me to say..." But thats the same number I got before" then she reads off the next three...it's like she was waiting for me to say "no this cant be it..." Seriously lady- grow up! Just read the whole number...and you guys should have never gotten it wrong anyway - hello- you are a major corporation...please represent your company well. I dont blame Mcdonalds at all- but they need to do some type of re-training for their employees!
Ok so yeah I got the prize on Sept. 9 BUT....yes there is a BUT....it was the wrong prize!!!!!! It was a PSP 3000 - I was suppose to get a PSP GO which is worth more!!!! Now you're prob thinking I should just be happy huh?? No! After waiting well past the 4-6 weeks, past the 8 weeks and past more weeks and being lied to and given the run around I can still say this...I won that prize fair and square! And I should get what the promised!!!!!
I'll just take it - whatever...but this makes me question Mcdonalds and their claims of giving away prizes when they promote game play...who wants the instant win of fries and soft drinks - those are on the dollar menu...if you say Ive won a PSP GO then deliver!!!!!!
