Omnitrace is an unethical and a scam company.  They prey on people looking for relatives!  When contacting Omnitrace I was advised per my case (looking for grandmother) and that it was not an adoption the case would take 3 months at most.  I of course was called numerous times before I paid the $1300.  Once they charged my card I did not hear ANYTHING.  I then called the company back only to have a rude assistant ask me why am I calling and I should be receiving information (which I was never advised of).  I then received a contract 2 weeks later advising me that it would take up to 1 year and I would have 3 correspondence with them per year (after 90 days).  I signed the contract (because I already paid) and sent the package over night.  I then received an email a week later advising they had begun.

Every time I have contacted the company it has been an automatic response, and to be patient.  I was contacted by Chris in research, only because I am now complaining and want my money back.

This company is a scam.  For a company to take money upfront, not disclose their policies and each case be $1300. Is a SCAM!!!
