Thank God for Ripoffreport.com. This morning around 10:30 am PST, I received a call on my cell phone from Lee, sales rep, www.findyoursearch.com. He asked how my cash gifting program, www.receivecashsoon.com , was going and how long I was involved with The Peoples Program. I asked Lee how he found my website. He said he searched Google for "cash gifting" and went through thirty-nine (39) pages of search results and I was listed on page 39. I said really. After I realized he was using up my Verizon Wireless minutes, I asked him to call my home phone number so I could find out how much his company charged to get my website on the first page of Google, Yahoo and other search sites. It was a good thing that I had Lee call my home phone because he used up 20 minutes of my Verizon Wireless peak minutes after another 20 minutes with Lee, he transferred me to his closer, Shane, who tried to sell me on the benefits of their company's search engine optimization, i.e., they would guarantee that my website would be on page one of Google, Yahoo, etc. Neither Lee nor Shane would tell me how much. Eventually after at least 30 minutes with Shane trying to convince me to say "yes" to buy their service without knowing their prices, he thanked me for my time and he said he would help someone else who could use their services.
Notice on the company's order form there are six packages listed: None, Silver, Gold, Platinum (default package), Emerald and Diamond. What really bothered me was that both Lee and Shane would not tell me the price of their service. Their website does not disclose the price of their service. Shane told me Findyoursearch had purchased USA SEO Pros in 2009.
I have nothing against legitimate businesses, but I do not like high pressure sales tactics especially when the salespersons do not tell you what are the prices of their services. I do not want to be pressured into spending hundreds or thousands of dollars for a product or service without research and consideration. At least when you visit new automobile dealerships, you will see the car sticker prices on the cars and you can research the cars before you visit the dealerships.
As of today, 03/09/2010, both links do work. And both websites have the same phone numbers, Call Us Toll Free: 866-743-8960 or at 702-240-4309. I called 866-743-8960 and the phone greeting stated Business Development Institute.
