received a call from chase haverty from vacation realty insiders a las vegas site for vacation international out of florida, called to see if i wanted to sell my time share he had a buyer and had them qualified already and would take 8-10 weeks to close, and the price would be $26,000.00 does that sound ok to you, of course i said yes he then said i would have to give fee up front of $1841.00 and it would be done deal, he said i will get a call from the closer a few minutes after we hang up but i was not to tell him i was promised a buyer? that seemed strange and should have hung up but so excited about the sale i went against my better judgement and went ahead with this scam they set me up for. then i could never reach anyone after that first contact so i got a hold my cc company and had them do an investigation and was able to retrieved my funds i was very lucky don't fall for these scams they call all the time and i now say no up front fees if you want to list or sell my time share, funds will be held out to pay you when it closes escrow. they just hang up
