As the owner of Groceries To Go, I would like to ensure all of my customers and potential customers that this entry on the rip-off report is nothing more than a prank by a website design company based in New York. Longtime customers will remember that we had to fire them around the time this was posted because their poor service was affecting our ability to serve our customers. Finding this childish prank 4/4/2010 completely re-affirms to me that our decision to fire this vendor was the correct move for our company and for our customers.

   While the charges are so over the top as to be laughable, I will take this opportunity to explain how we operate. All of our products are purchased either the day of, or the evening before delivery and immediately taken to our climate controlled warehouse and stored at the proper temperatures. They remain there until minutes before delivery and are packed appropriately to ensure temperature and quality all the way to your front door.  In our six months of operation, we have never once had a real complaint about quality or professionalism and the reason is that customer service is our number one focus. If you have a problem with any product, or even just change your mind, just let us know and we will refund your money promptly. We succeed as a business by offering our customers a valuable service that saves them time, for a reasonable price. It’s that simple.

My family has been using the grocery delivery service for some time now (long before the original report was made). We have NEVER had an issue of rotten anything. If you have actually seen how groceriestogo.biz handles the groceries you would know that there is little room for rotten food. For example, my family loves “Blue Bell Ice Cream”, here in Pearland it is hard to keep it from melting before you can get it home – but groceriestogo.biz have a method of keeping items correctly (our Ice Cream has never been delivered in any state other than frozen).

While we have experienced minor bumps – groceriestogo.biz made sure my family was completely satisfied. For an example of a minor bump, we once had a dented can of green beans delivered and Richard quickly and promptly replaced the can (No questions asked).

To be honest, I’m not sure how the original report could be legitimate – because anyone that has done business with groceriestogo.biz will know this is NOT how they operate. They seem to go to great length to make sure we the consumers are well taken care of. They have always been prompt, responsive and attentive to our needs.

Anyone who has ever actually used this service will recognize this childish posting for what it is--a bush-league attempt to get petty revenge for some imagined slight.  I have happily used the service numerous times and been extremely pleased.  The service was great to start, and got even better when the web design was updated.  Two tips for the alleged customer.  One, using the owners' names in bold letters is a bit too silly.  Two, the ridiculous picture of a chicken you rolled around in grass is not convincing.  On your next Keystone Kops adventure, try using something less conspicuous.  And to future real customers, you won't be disappointed.
