I purchased American Airline Advantage air miles to upgrade to first class seating on 4 tickets from Washington Reagan Airport to Seattle with one stop at Chicago O'Hare airport on September 27, 2008. On April 8, 2009 American Airlines changed the first class seating to economy seating from Washington Reagan to Chicago. They did not compensate me for the difference in air travel.
Transaction #1968507 (charged on credit card) for Sept. 27, 2008
Ticket locater #PRDNRD
Several emails have ensued to resolve this matter. American Airlines refuses to compensate for the difference in seating. I paid for 4 first class seats from Washington Reagan to Chicago O'Hare and had to travel in economy seats. I did not initiate any change in travel when American Airlines notify me of the change on April 8, 2009.
