SRE-CHEAPTRIPS CHEAPTRIPS RUN AROUND IN TRYING TO GET $180 REFUNDED CHERRY HILL, New Jersey

On May 11, 2009 I signed up for the service for three people under this company.  On May 15 I canceled my membership of 59.95 for each person and was assured I would see a refund in 90 days.  (http://www.cheap-trips.org/)

On September 9, 2009 I called to tell them I haven't received the refund.  They assured me i was now on the rapid refund list and would see a refund in 10-14 business days. 

On the morning of October 8, 2009 I called again and was told a manager would call me.  By COB I didnt hear anything so I called again and was told the manager would call within 24 of my earlier call.

On the morning of October 9, 2009 I still hadnt heard from the manager, I was told it would now take 2-4 days to hear from the manager. So I called my credit card company who told me they cant dispute a charge older than 90 days (which is the convenient time frame I was originally given to wait!)  I called Cheaptrips back again and was told it wasnt 24 hrs yet and the person who told me 2-4 days was wrong! 

I hung up filed a BBB complaint and then called CT again while in the process of filing to get the dates of my earlier calls, and was told by yet another person that it would take 1-3 days for the manager to call me.  This person gave me call in dates and I hung up.

I called three hours later and was told that the manager is working his way down his list of people to call and would be calling me shortly. 

I plan to call them every two or three hours for the next week while i wait the four biz days I was given and while I wait for the BBB to contact me.  I am also going to file with a lawyer while I wait.  I hope this company has a good legal fee savings!  Becuase 180 dollars is going to cost them a whole lot more than that!!!
