American Airlines lost our luggage for 5 days on an international flight. They did not offer us any money for additional expenses we incurred by this inconvenience (we had to buy clothes, shoes and toiletries). When we got our luggage back, a lot of our items were missing. We waited to get back from our trip to file a claim because we were told by one of their reps that it has to be filed in the U.S. We got back on a Saturday and called that Tuesday to file the claim, but we were told that there is nothing they could do because the claim has to be filed within 24 hours. During the 5 days that our bag was missing, American Airlines at one point had told us that our luggage had been opened but they never told us that we had 24 hours to file a claim.

I HAD STOLEN STUFF TOO!

AUTHOR: Joe - Austin (U.S.A.)

I went to Maryland to attend a Homeland Security training class for private security officers and I was missing my portable CD player and some nice shoes and a LOT of other things ..

Maybe those items were considered detrimental to NATIONAL SECURITY or WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION and they were CONFISCATED!

I LEARNED MY LESSON.

I WILL AVOID FLYING AND IF I DO, I WILL ONLY TAKE A CHANGE OF CLOTHES.

IT'S TOO MUCH OF A PAIN IN THE A** TO FLY SINCE THE 911 TERRORMANIACS DID THEIR EVIL DEEDS.

THE BUS WORKS FOR ME
