I had investigated a "vitamin" type capsule allegedly endorsed by Oprah; which was a natural mixture including the acai berry that increased metabolism & decreased appetite. I did some minimal research on the product, but ignorantly, not the company from which I made the purchase. I recall paying a S/H fee for the free shipment, but distinctly remember checking to make certain that my card would not get any further charges - or -"auto" shipments. I could not find anything on the URL which indicated any additional orders would be charged or shipped.

In my mailbox yesterday was the 2nd bottle of Acai Pure that I received but did not order and another $44.90 was charged to my card. It took some searching to get a contact number and once I finally did get through to someone, they did offer a RMA to return the product, less a 15% restocking fee and S/H fees. When I asked for a manager, I was asked to verify my contact information & someone would be getting back with me.

Moving forward my plans are to file a complaint with the BBB and the FTC. I'm notifying these agencies so as to make them aware of this scam. In order to get my money back, I'll be talking with the fraud department at my bank hoping to get my money back.
