On Tuesday, January 14, 2003, I contacted SmokeAway by phone in order to order their basic SmokeAway package. I was told on the phone that for $59.95, I would receive The Freedom Formula 1, Freedom Formula 2, and the aromatherapy formula. I would also receive a SmokeAway booklet. I paid an additional $16.95 for rush delivery. I was told that my product would come in 7 working days. I did not receive the product until Friday, January 24, 2003. I opened the box and all that was inside was Freedom Formula 1 and some aromatherapy tablets along with a pamphlet.

I went back to the website at http://www.smokeaway.com and checked out the basic package. The website indicates that the basic package comes with Freedom Formula 1, Formula 2, the aromatherapy formula, and the booklet. I printed this out so that I have a timestamp of when I went to the website.

I then called SmokeAway's customer support at 1-800-963-9702 and explained the problem. I told them that I either wanted the Freedom Formula 2 that was missing OR I wanted the money put back on my bank card. I was told by the representative that I had ordered the "standard" package for $59.95 and that only included Formula 1, aromatherapy tablets, and the booklet. I tried to reason with the representative. I asked her what the difference was between "basic" and "standard" when they were both the same price. Why on earth would I order the "standard" package when it included less than the "basic" package for the same price!!! So, after I couldn't get her little brain to focus on that, I brought up my second point. If I had the most basic package, meaning the standard package, I wasn't getting all of the ingredients that I needed. She tried to tell me that the ingredients for Freedom Formula 1 and 2 were not ALL included in Formula 1. So, I went BACK to the website and read the ingredients for Formula 2 off to the representative. Not ONE of the ingredients in Formula 2 is included in what she calls the New and Improved Formula 1. Matter of fact, the Formula 1 that I have doesn't even include the ingredients that are showed for Formula 1 on the website. I have also printed this page, so that it can be time and date stamped.

I told the representative that I felt that I was cheated. She KNEW that the company was wrong, I had given her more than a convincing argument, but she REFUSED to refund my money nor send me the Freedom Formula 2. I have now called THREE times and THREE times I have been told that there is no supervisor available and that they would only refund my money if I sent the product back at MY cost! Now, what type of company is this? Why would they want to send my money back to me, and make it so that I don't try the product at all? Wouldn't it be better for them to JUST SEND ME THE FORMULA 2 and allow me to try the complete package that I ordered. I also sent an email to the company on Saturday, January, 25, 2003 at 3 a.m. and I have not yet received a respnose.

SmokeAway is HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE fraud and I want atleast 2 out 3 things to happen. I want them EXPOSED...AND I either want my money back BEFORE I send them their partial product along with an airbill to send them the product back at THEIR cost, OR I will accept the Freedom Formula 2.
